From April this year, workers across the UK are getting proper statutory sick pay from their first day of absence, rather than going days without being paid. This is a great change and all thanks to the Labour government’s Employment Rights Act.

In our first 100 days we introduced an Employment Rights Bill. 👉 Ending exploitative zero-hours contracts 👉 Strengthening Statutory Sick Pay 👉 Ending fire and rehire These are just a few of the changes we’re making to make people in Plymouth better off.
