Still trying to process what we witnessed in Thoothukudi yesterday. I’ve always known Vijay is a crowd puller it’s no surprise but this… this was something else. It is official - Joseph Vijay is a DMK stooge who was brought in to ensure DMK retains power! I have all along insisted that Joseph Vijay is a creation of DMK to ensure he splits the anti-incumbency votes and helps DMK retain power comfortably. Joseph Vijay will get around 5% which is good enough to help DMK retain power. First of all, biryani is a heavy and unhealthy food that should not be served to students, as it may make them feel sleepy in school the last place where one is expected to fall asleep. It is not a great idea per se. But if Minister Rajmohan insists that it is his personal desire to serve chicken biryani in government schools, what about vegetarian students? Why should they be deprived of something special? However, there is a way to implement it. I would request the Joseph Vijay administration to serve vegetable biryani separately to vegetarian students so that sentiments surrounding food preferences are respected.
