Copilot still opens as an app by default, but there’s now a new title bar menu with custom snapping options. You can keep it as a normal app, use picture-in-picture, or dock Copilot to the left or right side of the desktop. When docked, Windows 11 resizes your workspace around Copilot. Your apps move aside, File Explorer adjusts, and Copilot stays pinned to the edge instead of floating like a separate window.
