"It's disgusting, two decades on, we're finding new documents," says wrongly-convicted former subpostmaster Lee Castleton. He spoke out after Channel 4 News obtained a secret 2006 contract between the Post Office and Fujitsu which, despite decades of denial, shows the organisations were able to centrally alter subpostmaster accounts. The Post Office said it apologises "unequivocally for the hurt and suffering" it caused "during the Horizon IT Scandal", while Fujitsu said it would not be "appropriate" for it to comment while the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry was ongoing.

If you didn’t listen to #PostOffice inquiry today - here’s a wrap from a day a former sub-postmistress says “adds insult to injury”, and a lawyer for victims calls a “flat-earther defence” + an interview with former sub-postmaster Nitin Pandit. 🔺George Thomson was general sec of the National Federation of Sub-Postmasters and told the inquiry the Horizon IT system is still "very robust". 🔺He said "the Horizon system is not the scandal, the Post Office stupidity on steroids handling of the situation is the scandal." 🔺He said he was furious at PO's "shenanigans" and for not telling him about bugs in the system + remote access 🔺But he also criticised Sir Alan Bates, the JFSA + the BBC and other media for in his words “painting Horizon as not fit for purpose.” Former sub-postmasters I've spoken to are shocked, and of course angry.
