I have 31 community dogs, which are an extended part of my family. We have vaccinated & neutered these dogs, and also allotted a space to them. Why did the population of dogs increase? Here are 2 reasons to never ever buy dogs- 1) Pet stores and dog breeders force female dogs to become pregnant repeatedly because more the kids, the better it is for profits. In fact, sometimes, they tie female dogs to “breeding stands” (also called rape stands) to make sure the dogs have more kids. 2) The same people who say “looks don’t matter”, buy only good-looking dogs. But what happens to the not-so-cute dogs? Feeding and taking care of these dogs is bad for profits. So the not-so-cute dogs are often killed or left in the streets.
