Damn the animation is flawless 😳

When I saw this on anime network, I was too young to fully grasp it, but even so, it left a deep impression on me. The concept alone is the kind of thing I yearn to create one day. Creative, powerful, and fundamentally human. Gotta watch it again asap.

i have the dvd of this, it's a fun flick. Did it ever get a nice blu ray release in the USA?

It's had Blu-ray releases in many places (including the UK), but seemingly not in the US, for some reason. A shame -- it's a great film!

Back when they actually animated and not 1 second cuts for every action from 19 different artists all slapped together.

This is one of the my early exposures to anime watching this on sci-fi. Makes me want to watch it again.
