@Sean_McDowell I sure miss John. 💔

@Sean_McDowell Phil what is your take on Sean? I find him to be a compromiser. He helped Kirk Cameron out during the annihilationism controversy and essentially held "Hellgate Part 2" Sean is very liberal in many ways.

@Sean_McDowell What a precious gift he was to us!

@Sean_McDowell Oh, so wonderful to unexpectedly hear Pastor MacArthur’s voice. ✨ We always knew he was a rascal. 😉

@Sean_McDowell This is evergreen!

@Sean_McDowell This is neat! Who is the young man in the middle?

@Sean_McDowell IF IF IF He has now reconciled you in His body of flesh through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach— IF indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you have heard

@megbasham @Sean_McDowell Wow, I didn’t know Dawson McAllister was connected with MacArthur. I listened to McAllister’s radio show religiously as a kid. I couldn’t miss an episode.

@Sean_McDowell They are all stuck on Jmac, it’s an unhealthy obsession with a mortal man; read the Scriptures ‘Looking unto #Jesus" comes from Hebrews 12:2 in the Bible, where believers are told to fix their eyes on Jesus Christ as the author and finisher of our #faith.

@Sean_McDowell Two giants in their field. Both made great impacts still being felt.

@Sean_McDowell I miss John MacArthur, my Baptist pastor used to quote him graciously during his sermons. His book Charismatic Chaos saved me from delving into the 90s charismatic craze.

@Sean_McDowell You can't lose your salvation but you can certainly give it up freely. Scripture is clear that some with depart from the faith. This doesn't mean that they were never part of the faith. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Hebrews 6:4–6 2 Peter 2:20–22 Hebrews 3:12 Matthew 24:10–13

@Sean_McDowell Yes, it does. That is exactly what it means: 1 John 2:19.
