from the script, when they land back at the cul-de-sac in 1x09: Once they're down, Carol looks at Zosia, chewing on her feelings, not looking forward to what comes next. Zosia too, is moved. Carol's about to cut out a tiny little piece of their hive heart... (1/2)

after a long, lingering complicated moment of all they've done and been to each other: good, bad, and ugly. Carol unbuckles, climbs out. The wind and engine roar kicks up. She watches as Zosia lifts off. snippet from:

A piece called "For Carol And Helen" plays whilst Carol buries Helen alone, but part of that piece also appears later in the same episode when Zosia is about to leave Carol alone again, but she looks back. I lined up the scenes for science and... I need to go cry now #Pluribus 🎧

When Trump first came in, his team knew what it was doing. I was against it. But you could respect the discipline and the execution. It was shock and awe. Now they're just riding their little tricycles around in the Oval Office doing whatever comes to mind. And it's not working. Meanwhile, everyday Americans are looking at these grocery prices — and they're looking at a president with a golden ballroom with a golden toilet who is gallivanting all over the world. And I think Trump’s team has lost the plot. When people are in love with somebody and they fall out of love, it's hard to fall back in love. A bunch of farmers were in love with Trump. They are now losing their farms. They are not coming back. How about you?

🚨 Jim Pickard 🐋 of Financial Times gets to the heart of Starmer’s Brexit deceit: “Are you ruling out single market or customs union membership at the next election? Because without either, our economy is very much not at the heart of Europe.” Starmer’s answer: more vague waffle about a “big leap forward” at the summit, turning our back on past arguments, and “looking forward together.” You can’t be meaningfully “at the heart of Europe” while refusing the economic structures that define that relationship.

Write down on a piece of paper, the people you spend the most time with. Score them on positivity and negativity. If they're the most positive, they're a 10, if they're negative, they're a 1. Look at it, and send less time with people who have low scores. I'm not saying cut your mama out, I'm saying limit it a little bit. If your mother is the most negative person in your life, don't talk to her six times a day. Talk to her once every two days. That's just the way life is ... You are the byproduct of the positivity or negativity you consume.

$GME CEO Ryan Cohen: "Everyone at eBay is always on vacation." Ryan says he reached out to the company 1-2 years back to talk about a potential partnership, but couldn't get anyone to engage seriously. "Everyone's always on vacation. They're not available. They have assistants. 'I'll get back to you next week.' Then they never get back to you." "There's no sense of urgency at that company."

What 1 NFL Team Does to Research Draft Prospects. John Schneider, while at the Collective Invitational last summer, spoke to a group of high school QBs about the depth of research the Seattle Seahawks do when researching prospects they're looking at potentially drafting. The work doesn't end there. He also talks about how, once drafted, they do everything they can to learn more about their guys and help them optimize their talents.

MUNGER: People don't seem to care what floor they're at, just whether the elevator is going up or down. BUFFETT: That's true. People feel better when they're on the 2nd floor that just came [up] from 1 than they do when they're on the 99th floor coming down from 100.

The incident in Mulhuddart at the Shanty is a perfect example of what this government has done to our country and what they care about! "They have written laws to allow this to happen! They are too busy being puppets to the bureaucrats in Brussels and too concerned about being the best boys in the class! They do not care about your kids, their future, or their safety, and that's just a matter of fact at this stage."

When the Iranian women football players refused to sing the regime’s anthem, they knew what awaited them back home. But what also moved me was what happened next. Iranians in the diaspora rushed to protect them, pleading with authorities, surrounding buses, shouting: “Stay here. Help our girls.” Not out of politics. But out of love and out of fear for their lives. Because they know too well what the regime in Iran does to those who defy it. This is what standing for your people looks like.
