You are utterly clueless. These people don't need housing. They need psychiatric care and drug addiction treatment. They cant take care of themselves. Picking them up and throwing them in motels will only leave you with destroyed and/or burned out motel rooms.

I saw the homelessness crisis firsthand in the emergency room at County General. Many of my patients shouldn’t have been in the ER — they were there because they had no clinic to go to. No primary care. No safety net. So they ended up in crisis. Now that same building is becoming a Healthy Village — affordable housing, wellness services, and real opportunity for our community. My work on this issue never stopped. There’s still a lot to do, but I’m changing the way Los Angeles approaches this crisis with comprehensive services. That’s how we’ll making a lasting impact.
