From today, BN(O) passport holders no longer require an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to travel to the UK. On 9 April, the UK Government updated its Immigration Rules in Parliament to exempt BN(O) passport holders from ETA requirements.

ETA shouldn't be a requirement of or BNO Holders in the first place. HKers resettled in the UK found so hard to get it reversed. @UKinHongKong could have done more to let @FCDOGovUK get rid of this even before the ETA regime came into effect. Please, work harder next time round.
