In the days when top flight relegation wasn't seen as cataclysmic. Great season in Div 2, some champagne football and of course the little matter of a domestic trophy win at Wembley

Remembering the time Ron Atkinson managed his Sheff Wed side AND commentated for Sky in the same ZDS Cup match. First half he’s next to Peter Brackley on the gantry, then he takes his mic down to the dugout for the second. Remarkable stuff from Big Ron.

05/05/1990: With 3 games left Luton looked a certainty for relegation. However, they won all of their remaining games, including this thriller at the Baseball Ground, whilst Sheff Wed were sleepwalking to Division Two. The Owls lost 5 out of their last 6 to go down on GD.

A bizarre Midweek Sport Special interview with Ron Atkinson from this week in 1989. Here Big Ron turns up at the Euro Figure Skating Champs in Birmingham, to discuss his sacking as Atletico Madrid boss after just 94 days in charge. Extraordinary stuff.

PANHANDLING SCHEME EXPOSED! I investigated two women in Mississauga who were begging for money and claimed to be from Eastern Europe. At the end of their “shift,” they were picked up in an alleyway by a man with a van. The next morning, they were dropped off at the same spot.

🚨🇬🇧🇸🇴 Meanwhile in Birmingham, UK “They’re celebrating - it’s shameful” Hundreds of people line streets after Israel recognised Somaliland today. Somaliland is a small area claiming independence from Somalia - however many people from Birmingham were also opposed to this because of their allegiance to Palestine. What people should be asking - is why any of this relates to or is on the streets of Britain in the first place, regardless.

BREAKING: 🚨🚨🚨 RON DESANTIS CALLED THE COPS ON ME AND HAD ME REMOVED FROM HIS IOWA CAMPAIGN EVENT TONIGHT EVEN THOUGH I HAD A TICKET! I was just removed from Ron DeSantis’s Presidential Campaign event in Ankeny, Iowa and threatened with ARREST by a police officer even though I had a ticket. I called the restaurant named “Who’s On 1st” ahead of time and they confirmed the restaurant was open to the public on the top floor, but Ron DeSantis called the cops on me because he doesn’t want me asking him, Chip Roy, Thomas Massie and Bob Vander Plaats questions about why Ron DeSantis said J6ers aren’t patriots, and why he has allowed for Capitol police to have an office in Tampa, Florida to hunt down Trump supporters. I was told if I came back I would be taken to jail. You know who isn’t “on 1st”? Ron DeSantis, because he’s not in 1st place in Iowa, and he doesn’t support the 1st Amendment! How ironic! The event was sponsored by Never Back Down. Ron arrived in the Never Back Down short bus. WATCH: Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley both called the cops on a Trump supporter today to get them arrested on the 3 year anniversary of J6! They support Weaponized government, and this is why nobody likes them! #AlwaysBackDown

$RON will be going live on Coinbase today! The interesting thing here is that the ERC 20 version of RON, WRON will be the listed asset. That means that RON will be connected to Coinbase via Ethereum. In order to deposit RON you'll need to deposit it as WRON from Ethereum. In addition, when withdrawing you'll need to withdraw it to Ethereum. Do not try to send or withdraw directly to Ronin. Thank you for attention to this matter.

Ron Killings (R-Truth) opened up on The Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast about his shocking WWE release and the incredible outpouring of support that followed. The love from fans, the locker room, and everyone backstage was so strong that he was back with the company just days later. In his own words: “ Talent, crew guys, production people, the fans — they all rally behind you because they know who you are.” What a testament to how beloved this guy truly is. “Too loved” to ever really turn heel again, either! 😂🙏 Ron Killings Undertaker

Stay in the same spot until you miss two in a row. 89 for 104 before missing two in a row from the first spot. This is a tough drill because you’re getting a shot up every 2.8 seconds. So fatigue really sets in!! Payton Starwalt
