THE £5M MOSQUE IN BLACKBURN After five years in the planning and construction, the new £5million mosque is complete and open for use, complete with call to prayer speaker which will be filling the air in Blackburn soon. It has been funded by the Issa Foundation, a charity established by Blackburn born brothers Zuber and Mohsin Issa, owners of ASDA. It can accommodate more than 1,000 people.
