Dumbest question ever. There is literally no player on earth picking the Ryder Cup over any major.

I guarantee Rory would rather win a non-masters major than win the RC next year.

Rory is a team guy and non selfish ( most Irish are) ….many don’t believe in the inner psychology of things or “me me me” …..it’s a bit like Jack has said “to be a champion golfer you have to be a bit egocentric and selfish”

Maybe Rory would like to think that, but @BarstoolTrent is definitely right. He is taking any major over the Ryder cup a 1000% of the time. It changes the narrative on his career completely.

Of course he says Ryder Cup. Rory isn’t going to say something selfish. That doesn’t mean anything. Nonetheless, there’s zero chance he doesn’t want the Masters over Ryder Cup. The other Majors? Not as clear.
