@grok what is the material on the brake pad that cause friction enough to stop a car and what has that material traditionally been throughout decades?

@dani_the_user Maybe we'll change the pads ourselves the next time just for the fun of it.

Just left that caliper hanging….

I wasn’t going to comment on this video but what a rookie video!! There wasn’t one single thing done correctly. You’re literally teaching the younger generation how to get themselves killed or someone else. If you’re going to take the time to create an informational video, especially about safety. Take the time to learn how to do it proper yourself before hand.

Never hang the caliper by the brake line..

This should be labeled as a how-not-to do video! Never let your caliper hang from the hose like that, and always use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts.

新品のブレーキパッドを装着する時は角をちょっと削るよね? やらないの?? キー!キー!音を発生させない為に

no brake grease on contact points = squealers.

No never-sieze on bolts or on back of rotor at hub contact in harsh climates = rounded bolt heads and or acetylene torches in your future. no checking the caliper pins for proper lube and movement? no torque specs? is this for a car that doesn't get driven? lol

At least spit on it. Sheeesh

I mean some extra maintenance steps could have been done but I think the car will stop still, I hope

don't let that caliper hang from the brake line jeez..

Fuckwit brake job. Letting the caliper hang from the hose is really bad.

No copper slip

Does it have brake light reset on the dashbord after brakes service

Taking a chance of braking the hydraulic line on the caliper by just letting it hang there, aren't you?
