Hi! It’s Alex. Spent most of today revising for the last week of exams. I did have some time helping Dad in the garden. We planted a Laburnum tree to lay Willow to rest in its roots. Willow loved perching in a mature Laburnum tree in our old garden and she can do so again. Surrounded by the beautiful scent of Elderflower. Did you know in some states when a neighbor cuts down a tree, if it falls into your yard and damages your property, it’s deemed an “act of god” and you are responsible for the damages to your property. For me this could be a huge headache for many people, it shows no accountability. If the neighbor’s tree damages someone else property, you would think that it’s their responsibility since it’s their tree and it’s their actions that caused the damage. Why on earth would any state have this law is beyond me, I wouldn’t want to live in an area like that, where one day you are on top and the next day you could be thousands in debt. What would you do if this was the case for you?

Something that’s been on my head and mind for the last week. Had a 17 year old work for me last week (just a day job). He has a 14 year old girlfriend, and they have a 4 month old baby. Don’t believe in abortion, praise God. I asked how I could help and he asked for a job. I don’t have any consistent work in that area. I have reached out to a few companies trying to help him get a job. He lives in an area that was decimated by Obama’s war on coal. He has no family support as he moved out at 15 cause his parents are on drugs. I’m looking for suggestions and ideas as to how we could help this young family.
