Did you intervene?

Twice. First because I saw a car approaching that I knew FSD wouldn’t spot in time through the tree and again when FSD wouldn’t go under the branches

Key notes from Mark: 1. Software was far too slow in identifying oncoming car. 2. Human clearly knows oncoming car is coming due to lights. 3. Oncoming car is not rendered until way too late. 4. Software should not attempt to cross double yellow lines without first some user confirmation. 5. Software did a decent job of identifying obstacle's presence, but reacted incorrectly given oncoming traffic danger. 6. Improvement is necessary for RobotTaxi.

Did it stop and then disengage or did u brake? The animation looked like it wanted to go left, but i don't know if that always matches what the car is about to do. I figure it couldn't get around on try #2 cuz' it just can't know that the branches are not a solid object?

I disengaged because I spotted the car approaching and I knew FSD wouldn’t see it through the tree

You never know how it would handle that. But it’s so weird, it was probably the right move
