Here’s a solid example of the lightning quick scan and response time that FSD is capable of. Going near 60 mph on this dark highway I could barely notice this pile of debris until I was right on top of it, but FSD saw it just in time and took appropriate evasive action avoiding what would have been a nasty hit at the very least. I find this clip very interesting. Tesla FSD 14.1.7 sees leaves on the road, slows down, and avoids them by moving to the other side. The concept of avoiding road objects exists; it just needs to better distinguish what is what.

Tonight, I tested the latest Tesla FSD build v14.2.1.25 on my Cybertruck while turning into my neighborhood—and unfortunately, the persistent phantom emergency braking bug is still there. The vehicle suddenly slams on the brakes, detecting a nonexistent “ghost” obstacle in the road. (See video) This issue first appeared with FSD v14.1 and hasn’t been resolved yet. 📍 GPS location: 28.240491, -81.606942 My nearby friend with a 2025 Cybertruck experiences the exact same problem at the same location. Notably, it happens in both FSD mode and regular manual driving—but only started after the v14.1 update. I’d really appreciate reposts to help bring this to the attention of Tesla AI, Ashok Elluswamy, or Elon Musk so the team can prioritize a fix! 🚀

Truly disappointed with FSD after tonight. Tesla needs to do everything in their power to get people off factory branch software. Gets halfway through an intersection only to slam on the brakes. If I were a new Tesla owner I would never touch this tech again. This is fixable. Every single new vehicle needs to be on the latest builds to ensure they have the best experience possible. I will not be continuing my subscription and will consider again once they decide to get me off the factory branch/FSD 14.2.2.5

A Tesla motorhome would totally change family road trips. FSD handles the drive, and everyone just relaxes like it’s a mobile home on wheels. You’d just stop at Superchargers along the way, ideally near parks or campgrounds, maybe even built right into family-friendly travel spots. It feels like the future of road tripping, especially with Tesla Semis already proving long distance electric travel works.

One of the biggest detractors from the FSD user experience is the last-second lane changes, often leading to completely missing, or narrowly missing an exit or turn. And at high speed, that’ll make the hairs on your neck stand up. Tesla has solved seemingly the hardest aspects of autonomy… yet this navigation/lane planning issue keeps showing up version after version. Tesla Self-Driving likely saved a man's life on my commute this morning. 🥹 Pouring rain. Both of us signaled to merge into the same empty lane at nearly the same time. FSD reacted immediately. I didn't even see him until FSD was already handling it. A camera-based neural net saw a motorcyclist in a rainstorm that a human didn’t and people are still debating whether this technology works. Wow! FSD 14.3.2 just saved my cybertruck and 4 deer by stopping and swerving as I was going 73 mph in pitch dark at midnight. I didn’t touch anything. I don’t even know if I would have even reacted so fast without avoid them. So thankful for FSD 🙏🏼 This isn’t the first time it’s slowed for a deer but this is the most aggressive action it has taken to avoid and can clearly see how quick it is for reaction. Well done Tesla AI

Today marks 21 straight days of our family’s West Coast road trip in the Cybertruck. So far we’ve driven 3,493 miles, and every mile has reminded me why I believe this is THE greatest road-trip vehicle ever built. Tesla FSD has handled all the driving, which means I get to spend more time playing & talking with my family, enjoying the scenery, and arriving at each destination feeling far less worn out than I ever did on road trips in the past in a non-Tesla. The Cybertruck has been an absolute beast. It’s comfortable, incredibly capable, has more than enough room for everything we’ve packed, and has taken us through cities, highways, mountains, and national parks without missing a beat. After 21 straight days on the road, it’s needed zero maintenance, just charging and going, like a phone. The combination of the Cybertruck, Tesla’s Supercharger network, and FSD completely changes what a road trip feels like. After 3,493 miles and 21 consecutive days behind the wheel, I can honestly say I’ve never experienced anything like it. A Tesla truly makes road trips multiple times more enjoyable… I can’t ever imagine driving anything else.

Amazing Reaction Time? Yes. Braking when you shouldn’t? Yes. This guy is jaywalking… I do not want to be rear ended because the car overreacts to everything. He knew he was doing the wrong thing and was waiting. FSD just needs to chill. Not everyone on the side of the road plans on jumping in front of traffic. Tesla AI

Grok Heavy told me Tesla needs 100,000 Robotaxis on the road to cover 50% of the U.S. population. Most people still can’t wrap their heads around that, but they will. Bc once it happens, it’s going to flip the entire transportation industry on its head, and all the doubters will realize they were watching history being built in real time and didn’t even know it.

Tesla just got another crack in Europe’s FSD wall. Slovenia is now the sixth EU country to approve FSD Supervised, following the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark and Belgium. This one arrives about a month before the EU votes on whether to extend that approval across all 27 countries. Until then, every new country gives Tesla more miles, more proof and another regulator willing to say yes. Slovenia is small. The timing definitely isn’t. FSD took me into the HOV lane yet again today despite me being the only passenger in the car. This time when I yanked it back into non-HOV lane and tried to engage FSD again, it blinked red asking me to take over immediately and displayed a message on screen saying FSD aborted due to system error. I had to drive manually for the rest of the trip. I thought I got a FSD strike but nope, I was all clear. FSD v12.6.4 continues to fail. 👎 Tesla Elon Musk Ashok Elluswamy
