FSD v14 lite gave me a heart attack today

Call me crazy, but I feel like over the last two days it’s gotten so much better. I have not had one issue parking in the last two days, but prior to that about 60% of them would fail.

v14 Lite seems to do WAAAY better parking when backing in vs. driving forward into a space. (I have a small sample size for this statement; n<50)

Well, I don’t have all day Especially seeing it pass multiple empty spots. It used to recognize my parking garage on 12.6.4, now with v14 even when it knows it’s supposed to get into a garage , it picks a random spot on the streets and just stays there 🤷‍♂️ Hope future updates can advance this feature

It’s so freaking bad. Ugh. It literally stalls mid-4 way stops for me with such indecisive behavior I have to takeover. I’ve been at this for years and it’s giving me V10 vibes in some scenarios.

Try a camera calibration and DAS reset in service mode.

Yes, I'm excited having V14 Lite, but it sure did hit a curb with the left rear damaging our 20' Induction rim badly. Just sayin be attentive with it, it'll get better.

That’s amazing but mine tried to drive up a curb to park, almost hit another owner at a Supercharger and almost backed into a Supercharger to park. How can I trust that it will do what you show here?

Let the model do things to a certain extent, hover your brake while it maneuvers and stop when warranted, the car is going less than 2 miles per hour so tapping the brakes should prevent 98.5% of mishaps. Also, Tesla does have the ability to tweak things in the backend as well as through minor software updates that don’t officially bump the FSD version. Basically it comes down to let the car surprise you but be ready to correct or stop it. Dont let it discourage you from discovering an experience.
