Lankshear scores again, he wouldn't have started. But off the bench, not even to be given a chance. Needed a Striker who can play with his back to goal, Marmoush isn't a player who can play up top by himself.

💯 My biggest concern is that when signing Marmoush it sounds as he is a 9 only. Not sure if it was part of the agreement to get him across. But we should be playing him out LW and Dom 9. Omar can play inside and let Robbo bomb outside

I thought we played quite well Jonny. Tonali, Porro, and both CB's. Marmoush went close and Savi gave a good account of himself. Good to see Kudus back. Would like to see Marmoush on the left, Solanke in the middle and Savi on the right start against Everton.

John like I said I thought we battled well defence and Midfield the issue is upfront I said before the window opened we needed physicality upfront we’ve got none we looked weak hence not a shot on target and no goals in the first 3 games since 1973

Marmoush isn’t a 9 in my opinion. I look at last season and we lost 3-0 here with a whimper. This season we’ve come away with a point. It’s all stop start with injuries. If the attacking players can stay fit, they will gel and it will come good.

FT #Spurs v #EintrachtFrankfurt We were definitely 2nd best in that first half. Maddison losing the ball way too easily before they broke for Etikete to score the 1st with a great finish. They are very good in transition and we needed to block them off quicker in the middle. Son was almost invisible in the 1st half, and when he did show, he lost the ball. It was a great finish for Porro to level the game, but a terrible attempt by the Germans at the break to let us off. We were so much better in the 2nd half. Bergvall was superb. He was so unlucky with his long-range effort, hitting the bar. Bentancur worked so hard in the middle alongside him. Son had a great effort brilliantly saved but that was his lot. Ange subscribe to long I felt. They were not all that IMHO, we can do this. I’m looking forward to flying to Germany now 😎👊🏼 #COYS 💙🤍

FT Spurs 1 v 1 Leeds I’m absolutely gutted, but it could have been so much worse had Leeds shot late on hadn’t hit the bar. We have Kinsky to thank for not losing the game in the end. We were manic in the first 15 mins, winning the ball back in the final 3rd, but we hurried to many final balls. Leeds didn’t come with their heads on the beach; that’s for sure. They were dangerous on the counter. We kept pressing to win the ball back but struggled with the final ball. We had 6 corners, none were really good enough. The most dangerous moment came from a Leeds header which Kinsky did brilliantly to dive low and save on the line . His ball distribution is so much better than Vicario. We took the game to them, but they were resolute. The nerves weren’t great at the end of the 1st half with the VAR penalty. From hero, Marthys Tel with a fantastic goal, then he turns to villain with an overhead kick that takes out Ampadu in his own box. What was he doing 🤦🏻‍♂️ Var gives the penalty, the game changed. We just can’t win at home, it’s that simple. When Bentancur went off, we fell apart; our passing was shocking. The only positive was seeing Maddison coming on late in the match to try and influence the game. Was that a penalty ? we get nothing from VAR not 1 all season 😡 Leeds came to play; let’s hope they have the same commitment when they play West Ham. So many poor performances in that second half. Richarlison should have buried his chance. It’s still in our hands, but we need Newcastle to do us a favour. If they win, we are still with the upper hand. If they lose, I fear for us. It’s Chelsea next 🙏🏼 #COYS 🤍💙

FT 🐝 Brentford 3 v 0 Spurs 🐓 Normal service has resumed 🤦🏻‍♂️😡 What an Embarrassing performance tonight end of. There were so many players that were shit everyone needs to look at themselves tonight. Richy,Bergvall,Gallagher,van Hecke and Tonali to name but a few were poor for me. Only Tel comes out with any credit for his effort for setting up Moore but even that’s a push We simply couldn’t defend We were absolutely shambolic in that 1st half of football,we were second to every ball, so weak through the middle they just ran through us. They looked way ahead of us in fitness and physicality. We were simply outclassed. It was summed up in the 1st half with their fans singing what a waste of money to Tonali, and he deserved it. Richarlison spent more time on the floor than running at the defence. Before their first goal, you just knew it was coming, so many warning signings. The second goal came from mistakes from Richy and Bergvall that led to Kinsky mistaking parrying it to Yanelt. Bergvall and Gallagher unsurprisingly went off at HT It took no time to concede a 3rd Moore spurned 2 good chances to pull goals back before they missed a penalty and total embarrassment This is nowhere near our real starting 11, so I have to go easy. Ft Aston Villa 1 v 2 Spurs Oh Robert De Zerbi 🔥🔥get in there 👊🏼 What an unbelievable win it’s in our hands now and we are out of the relegation zone. That first half of football that was! The best this season, I think. We got in their faces from the off, pressing them relentlessly. De Zerbi’s ball was there for all to see: 50/50s and 2nd balls. Gallagher’s strike to put us one up was superb. Palhinha hit the post with another great shot shortly after. We were all over them. Martinez pulled off a great save to stop them going 2-0 before Richarlison put in our second. The scenes in the away end were amazing he is ready for the battle as always. Bentancur, Palhinha, and Gallagher were controlling the midfield with Destiny getting forward well Tel needed to be a bit calmer on his final ball. At HT we had 8 shots 4 on target to their none Palhinha was like an animal in the second half pressing tackle just unbelievable with Bentancur and Gallagher working so hard. Kinsky’s ball control and distribution was so good. MVDV had to make a couple of crucial tackles but we were very comfortable. I felt like I was watching a football team tonight Leeds next #COYS 🤍💙

FT Spurs 0 v 2 Newcastle Another home defeat over £300m spent 2 games 0 points 5 goals conceded none scored 🤦🏻‍♂️losing to a team that’s lost most of its star players makes it even worse. We started first half messy Van de Ven was all over the place at the start, a booking after 2 mins after a bad tackle. Tel was shocking for the first 12 but later dug out a great shot on goal, a good save from the keeper he was constantly on the ball but giving the ball away too often. If he crossed at the first opportunity, he’d get a better end product just not good enough. Spurs dominated the last 20 mins. But yet again we just couldn’t connect in the final 3rd and score. Tonali’s run through the middle was superb, and Van Heche’s passing was very good. Newcastle came out much stronger at the start of the 2nd half a great pass by Gonzales to Elanga turns and beats Kinsky it was coming 🤦🏻‍♂️ What a great sight to see kudus back for Tel. Poor marking at the corner and Wissa overhead kick 2-0 They took every chance De Zerbi has a lot of work to do here. Our final 3rd is just nowhere near there at the moment when the 2nd went in the heads dropped where was the leadership another loss to Newcastle better than Brentford but that wasn’t hard. Seriously disappointing the pressure is on.

FT Spurs 0 v 2 Newcastle Another home defeat over £300m spent 2 games 0 points 5 goals conceded none scored 🤦🏻‍♂️losing to a team that’s lost most of its star players makes it even worse. We started first half messy Van de Ven was all over the place at the start, a booking after 2 mins after a bad tackle. Tel was shocking for the first 12 but later dug out a great shot on goal, a good save from the keeper he was constantly on the ball but giving the ball away too often. If he crossed at the first opportunity, he’d get a better end product just not good enough. Spurs dominated the last 20 mins. But yet again we just couldn’t connect in the final 3rd and score. Tonali’s run through the middle was superb, and Van Heche’s passing was very good. FT Spurs 1 v 2 Liverpool The referee made himself the star of the show in the first 30 mins every shoulder to shoulder challenge was given against us then came that Simons red at first I thought it was a slip but the replay showed a clear red.what was he thinking he’s let the team down. We fought so well up until that moment and we did so well when we went down to 10 men in the first half. Isak came on as a HT sub and of course he scored soon after but was injured scoring the goal. It was a bizarre Cuti pass that created their chance of course Wirtz got his first assist as well. It was very getting fiery out there Cuti was losing it with the ref and their players.Cuti was again at fault for the second from Ekitike. Then on comes Richy and buries a goal game on and we are thinking could we until Cuti gets sent off he’s cost us big time today . FT Brentford 0 v 0 Spurs That 1st half of football was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. It was unwatchable. Only MVDV,Palhinha, and maybe Bentancur did anything of worth. It was so bad that the away fans were singing the names of just about every player that’s put on a shirt for the club. I was ill tonight but still thought I should come. What a joke 🥶 for that shit I said the second half couldn’t be worse well it could it was even worse if that was even possible. I’d like my money back this wasn’t football. #COYS 🤍💙

People of Nabi Ball!❤️✌🏾 There is progress in this team👏🏾 The patterns need time to develop and for the team to be consistent in them. ■ The left side looked better with Mmodi and Shinga✅️ ■ We needed Duba to attack the box and be available more when these 2 attacked on the left. He dropped to the edge of the box very often. ■ Unlike in the 1st half, there was a better understanding between Shinga and the LW. When Shinga overlapped, Mmodi was willing to occupy the pockets and combine. ▪︎ When Shinga inverted, Mmodi was happy to hug the line and take his man on. This understanding was key in that side coming to life in the 2nd half. ■ What was also impressive was the ability for them to create good combinations and movements with Mdu and Duba on the offense from the left side. ■ Lilepo from the right was getting into good goal scoring positions when the left was creating in the 2nd half, but poor decisions on the ball and slow reactions were a problem. He should compete on the LW with Mmodi. ■ In the 1st half, it was Monyane and Vilakazi on the right, and 2nd half it was Mmodi and Shinga with some of our best moments in attack. Overall, you can see the general attitude of this team changing. They want to play now. They want to stay on the ball and create chances from a position of control, not rely heavily on transitional moments to create chances. We have shown signs that we can control and be patient, but when opportunities to attack comes we are relentless, and we use a lot of speed to enter the final 3rd. We just need to work on the combinations and finishing in the final 3rd. Like I said before, we are a work in progress, and we will get better only if we build on the positives and remove the negatives. Protagonist Tiki-taka is coming!❤️✌🏾

FT #Spurs 1 v 0 #Villereal A shocking mistake by goalkeeper Luiz Junior gave us an early lead and the victory but it was so scrappy in the first half we didn’t move the ball quickly enough imho. So many careless passes by our players giving the ball away over and over again so frustrating. It didn’t get any better in the 2nd half Villarreal are no mugs Pepe had a couple of good chances to score. Bentancur and Bergvall tried to progress the ball but the 3rd phase of play just wasn’t there Richarlison struggling. Simmons was lucky not to see red after a second bookable offence Foyth was outstanding for them The ref was absolutely atrocious but that can’t excuse a lacklustre poor performance we will need better on Saturday v Brighton. FT #Spurs 2 - 0 #Doncaster It was mainly a comfortable 1st half Marty’s Tel with a shocking miss early doors and it just never got any better embarrassing misses and losing possession with sloppy passes it was such a poor performance. A beautiful finish with an over head kick by Palhinha playing at CB gave us the lead. A quick second with Danso getting involved as McGrath scored an OG. Ajayi was their best player he created a couple of chances for them in the first half. It needed a top save by Kinsky to stop them clawing a goal back. Gray has done well in the middle as has Simons but Johnson needs to work much harder done nothing but score in the 94th min 🤣 The 2nd half performance really hasn’t been a great one at all but it’s about getting the win and going into the next round. What a great sight seeing Williams Barnett make his debut at 16. For me Palhinha is my MoM #COYS 🤍💙 #CarabaoCup #COYS 🤍💙

FT Spurs 2-0 Brentford Finally a great win at home and a very good one it was to. The fans so deserved this win coupled with Arsenal losing it’s been a great day for us. You can’t fault the performance and the team effort but if you’re trying to I can’t help you. No mention of XG today thankfully. FT Spurs 1 v 4 Arsenal It’s yet another defeat still no win in 2026. Honestly, where do we go from here with this squad? 8 -2 on two games it’s embarrassing What a great atmosphere created by the fans to start the game. Everyone was bang up for it. As expected, they pressed us sp hard. We battled well. Bissouma was doing some great work in the middle, and Dragusin had a great game at the back, getting in some crucial challenges. You just knew Eze was going to score, but how wasn’t he booked for that celebration in front of our fans? It wasn’t long, though, before Muani got us back level, winning the ball back on the edge of the box before driving the ball brilliantly past Raya into the bottom corner. It was no more than he deserved; he’s worked tirelessly upfront in his own. Simon’s and Gallagher struggled to make a mark on the game. Luckily for us, they have been wasteful in front of goal in the 1st half. The second half started so badly. Gyokores firing in a great shot from outside the box. We all thought Muani had brought us level, but the ref blew for an artistic dive from Gabriel. They looked likely to score every time they came forward, and sure enough, Eze scored a 3rd. We look as clueless in the final 4th as we did under Frank. We are in trouble. There’s no doubt about it. Look at the quality the their subs with 15 to go we had nobody. I’m gutted and angry #COYS 🤍💙

After a strong opening 18 mins, Kinsky had to make a good save from Palmer. Our midfield was nowhere, but we didn’t learn our lesson. Destiny with a poor headed clearance. Enzo picks it up and hits a great looping shot from 25 yards out into the goal. Kinsky reacts late. There was a gulf in class in the midfield area. We were 2nd best . This is a team that played at Wembley 3 days ago. We had 9 days rest, but it looked the other way round. Whereas the heart, the fight 🤷🏻‍♂️ It was also a team weakened without Joao Pedro, James, and Colwell. The start of the second half was no better. What was Muani doing playing that pass across the pitch like that for Santos to score? Made it 2. It’s all been too easy. Madders, Spence, and Sarr came on to try and get us back in it, and it was Sarr’s cross that put Richy in to score and put us back in it. He should have, however, buried that header. What is it with playing horseshoe football around the box when you’re chasing the game? Take a bloody shot 😡 Am I confident we can get the draw we need ? No, we are shit at home. We came out with purpose and were all over them from the start. Did they suddenly decide to play for the manager ? Odobert’s link-up play was absolutely superb down the right with Porro. Cuti again leading the way with the opening goal, setting the tempo Solanke goal on his UCL debut this season. Thus is a German team beaten only once in the Champions League and German league. The 2nd half we sat back letting them have possession. Bergvall was injured yet for some reason they let him play on for 10 minutes before he had to go off why wait ffs. The plus was seeing the supremely talented Junai Byfield make his Tottenham debut great stuff. #COYS 🤍💙
