Tales of Arise isn’t the absolute worst game I’ve ever played but it’s one of the games I hate the most for what it does and what it represents.

10 years ain’t gonna fix the enemy/boss and combat design, dude. Neither will it fix the regressions and simplifications of longtime series mechanics and lackluster storytelling.

Didnt help that in this game, the MC had an ability that did 20 times the dmg of all other abilities. So you had to spam it, or use everything else and take 10 times longer to defeat a boss. Also the story is awfull.

Literal skill issue.

Tales of Arise doesn't get enough hate. It astounds me how a game like this could come up with so many solid hooks but find a way to blunder all of them in the most bombastically retarded way imaginable. I can't fathom how people could defend any of this shit.
