Three young Indian women in Germany spot a German putting out stuff on the street (yes, it’s called Sperrmüll - people leave usable items for anyone who actually needs them). These aren’t starving villagers. They have jobs. They live in Germany. India is the world’s 4th largest economy. And yet they couldn’t resist the freebie mentality that makes us look like the world’s most shameless scavengers. This isn’t “smart saving.” This is embarrassing. This is why the world rolls its eyes at us. You don’t fly to Europe and behave like you are at a free government ration distribution. You don’t empty the street so nothing is left for people who actually need it. You don’t treat public space like your personal scrapyard.
