Full Hasan Piker context in response to a viewer accusing him of having "anti-Asian politics" for criticizing the Supreme Court's ruling against Affirmative Action: "This entire affirmative action thing being like, 'Oh, this is actually a really important day for Asian people, we should be celebrating it.' The entire... institution that brought this up to the Supreme Court is led by white people. They just put Asian people in the front because they realized if they were doing it for white people, then it would've been demonstrably white supremacist and people would've said, 'Oh this is bullshit, get the fuck out of here.' So what did they do? They turned around and put a bunch of Asian dudes in the front as props. And some of you dumb motherfuckers ate that propaganda hook, line, and sinker. The entire conversation literally started with a white guy. A white guy and his organization decided the best way to sell this to Americans is not by focusing on anti-blackness or any kind of other considerations, but instead focusing on "fairness", because Americans love the notion of a meritocracy. That's what it is. Reverse affirmative action, which is a band-aid solution and certainly not an all-that-successful one really, it was just marginally drip-feeding more black people into the upper echelon of professional managerial class positions slowly but surely. Why would New York Magazine crop out black people from an article on a MAGA event and then portray it as mostly white? , who hosted the event, responds: “I knew that America was getting woke under Biden, but I didn’t know that even the KKK had a DEI program because apparently, I can now be a white supremacist! I get more convinced by the day that the left is just completely morally bankrupt. This man wants to create a national "whooping white people day." But not to target white men. Women, children, and the elderly only. Arm yourselves people. Because they don't have morals and they don't care! The hatred from the left is spreading. Running this page has opened my eyes to how many racists who hate white people we have living amongst us. It’s disgusting. I see on a daily basis, people in the comments banging on about slavery and colonialism. They don’t realise the luckiest day of their lives was being born in a western democracy. They have lived a life of privilege but like to be a victim. They are angry with white people moving into black countries hundreds of years ago. But perfectly fine with black people moving to white countries in the present day. They call it immigration when it’s them. They are in support of people being able to live wherever they want. Just not when it’s white people. That’s colonialism and it’s evil. They don’t realise they are everything that they hate the colonisers for. They take all the benefits of being here. But still hate us for it. They use history and things that didn’t happen to them as a scapegoat to be openly hateful towards us. In their own mind it justifies their racism so they can still hold the self righteous belief they are a good person. But when I see people like this. It restores my faith in immigration. It’s good to know that this can sometimes be the outcome. Not everyone is selfish and only care about their own race. There are plenty of people who care about us too. Plenty of people see it for what it is and stand by our side and I have nothing but respect for them. I wish everyone was like that. Thank you to this man for speaking out for us and showing common sense. Because when we say this, they call is far right racists and fascists. But in reality we are only human just like anyone else. Only we are taught to just accept this and eat shit and be happy. It’s double standards and this man is bang on it 👏👏
