What do you think the incentives are for those who are trying to centralize Bitcoin are for a)manipulating the price to stay low vs. b) allowing or manipulating it to rise high? E.G. Low discourages individuals from buying so they get more vs High so they can profit more?

You mentioned there were suddenly many nodes added that were running an older version of Core, and that they worked to suppress the Knots percentage. Is BTC really just pure majority? Because that's why USA has an Electoral College and is a Republic.
