The front section of a hijacked white Nissan Impendulo tested positive in connection with a Springs case, while additional parts belonging to a hijacked Hyundai Tucson were identified and linked to a Vosloorus case. While EMPD officers were still on scene conducting investigations and loading the recovered evidence onto a towing vehicle, an off-duty police officer arrived. The officer, based at Eden Park SAPS and attached to a unit dealing with trio crimes, allegedly confronted and harassed the EMPD officers, demanding to know what they were doing at a property belonging to his friend. Video footage recorded at the scene appears to show the officer, identified as Sergeant Zwane, behaving in an intoxicated manner. Deputy fired after entering home without a warrant. In Ponchatoula, Louisiana deputy Randall Kelly unlawful climbed into a bedroom window in search of a 16 year old suspect. The man he tackled in the video was not the man he was person he was looking for and he instead tackled 18 year old Jacob Pea. So this deputy unlawfully entered this home to tackle the wrong guy. Big dumb just does not say enough. As mentioned before this deputy was promptly fired by the Sheriff. As of this date there is no record of a lawsuit being filed by the family for having their rights violated.
