NEW: Battlefield Addiction(BattlefieldAddiction) and We Heart Seattle(We Heart Seattle) made a huge splash this weekend, raising thousands of dollars for sober living beds in the Seattle area. For drug addicts, that means a place to go for treatment and recovery instead of being given more taxpayer funded meth pipes and fentanyl foil. This is the start of a powerful partnership to take on the homeless industrial complex and confront lies being peddled by the "harm reduction" lobby in America.

I visited Seattle’s $165 million dollar downtown library and it was OVERRUN with drug addicts. Not only is this library filled with adults who are high on drugs, but they also offer FREE fentanyl test strips, syringes and injectable narcan that anyone, including children, can access. Visitors have complained of “foul odors”, unusable restrooms and harassment by the homeless and I experienced all of this while at this location. Seattle residents just passed a tax increase to raise $480 million dollars for libraries just like this one and this is unfortunately the state that they’re in:

Update! The City of Seattle acted on an Emergency Work Order to evacuate the 1st and Blanchard building as of this morning. Seattle Police Department was there to trespass squatters. The neighborhood is relieved there is progress that this drug den is boarded up and removed of perimeter hotspots for drug use and dealing. Finger pointing was to blame according to the inspection crew chief as to who should clean and board up the building from untenable drug related activity on Blanchard.

HUMAN TRAGEDY: The fentanyl crisis continues to play out on multiple streets in Seattle, especially in places like #Chinatown-ID. This evening, a young man in his 20's showed me the early stages of "TRANQ FENTANYL" eating away at his skin. Pills laced with xylazine, an animal tranquilizer, are starting to show up more often on the streets. It's also leaving addicts walking around in a zombie like stupor. Another man nearby using fentanyl said, "I can see the silhouette of a demon" in his friend's flesh eating wound. Camp Site Seattle and others have documented the aftermath of "tranq" across the city. There is no denying the zombie drug is here. Nothing has changed in Councilmember Tammy Morales'(Councilmember Tammy J. Morales) district. Where is Morales? This is all happening on her watch. She recently voted against a common sense drug bill that would have allowed the City Attorney to prosecute open air drug use and possession of illegal drugs. Even this addict says a few days in jail could help in the journey to detox. But no one in the "harm reduction" lobby is out here trying to intervene. They're just giving away drug supplies like foil and meth pipes. Someone please tell me, what's the "harm reduction" plan for "tranq?" NARCAN doesn't even work. Watch this shocking video of a corner tobacco store in the heart of Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood (once an iconic jewelry store) sell drug distribution baggies, meth pipes, butane torches, and tooters. The rest of this building was boarded up recently by the city for becoming a squatters drug den. Blanchard Street is a known hot spot for drug dealing, using, and fatal overdose deaths. Should the selling of paraphernalia and tools to smoke illegal and lethal drugs be allowed? Should a zoning permit be required? Perhaps a special tax of these items we can all get behind? Canada has taken a stand against butane torches that are root causes of tent, tv, and building fires. Seattle has an issue of making it too easy to get high, thus havoc and crime in our neighborhoods. Seattle City Council City of Seattle Mayor Katie B. We Heart Seattle’s Andrea Suarez testified Monday and lays out the reasons why this was needed. However, there is concern more homeless drug addicts will now flood nearby Seattle, a city that is perceived as more enabling and permissive.

But in reality, nothing has changed from the prior administration. On Friday, the MLK Jr. Way drug encampment was cleared for the second time in less than a month. The addicts returned immediately and set up tents in the very same spot or simply moved across the street. The so called "service resistant" people do not believe cops will arrest them for illegal camping. Men and women out here also know for a fact City Attorney Erika Evans won't prosecute for open-air drug use. That's why Seattle keeps losing this game of Whack-A-Mole. Investigating Toronto's drug crisis When walking around the intersection of Queen and Bathurst, it's impossible not to notice the large number of people struggling with homelessness and drug addiction. Residents claim that the area attracts this demographic because of two harm reduction programs operating at this intersection. The Parkdale Queen West Community Health Centre distributes drug paraphernalia, such as pipes, needles, and syringes, free of charge. Directly across the street, West Neighbourhood House also operates a harm reduction program that distributes the same supplies for drug use. The primary goal of these programs is to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and reduce overdose deaths. Many businesses in the area have closed, which locals say is due, in part, to the drug activity. Teams of people walk around collecting needles and other items left behind by users. At nearby Alexandra Park, we saw large groups of people gathered, with some openly holding pipes. Just a short distance away, a summer camp for children was taking place. Critics of harm reduction argue that the normalization of drug use is only making the problem worse, with increasing numbers of people struggling with addiction on the streets of Toronto. We reached out to both harm reduction programs mentioned above, as well as local city councillor Ausma Malik, for their perspective on the situation. As of publication, none had responded.
