According to my standards, I can do 43. -chest to ground -full lockout with clear pause at top -no “resting” at the top -body in good plank the whole time Start “resting” at top for >.25 sec? Set’s over. Start worming up? Set’s over. Why such strict standards? Because without them, it’s impossible to gauge progress. And this applies to most things. If I do this standard this time and then next time I let myself rest at the top as long as I want, or not touch the ground, or not fully lockout, and I get 62, did I improve? I have no idea. And does that mean you shouldn’t ever do sets where you rest at the top, or where you don’t do full chest to ground. No! But for testing/comparison purposes, it’s important to have clear standards. And I think these are the easiest to implement to a wide audience. No additional equipment needed, just touch your chest to the ground and fully lockout. Very clear bottom and top of the movement, no ambiguous “arms at parallel” or “4 inches off the ground.” Simple and repeatable. Repost or comment with a video (side view) of your results. I don’t care how many you do, I just wanna see great reps!

8 years and still counting… 🥹🤍 Last year, my favorite moment was definitely when Boun posted that video of them at the beach with their song playing (Soft Spot). I’ll never get tired of telling everyone that THAT song belongs to them 🥹🌊🎶 This year… I think my favorite moment was Boun being all clingy and soft with his Paopao 🤏🏻🤧 Watching this video like this really makes you realize that even after 8 years, they’re still the same people and they still love each other so much. Because, just like Soft Spot says: “Don’t like anybody, tell me why it’s different with you Don’t believe in love, but no one makes me feel like you do […] You know I got a soft spot for you” 🤍 #BounPrem

Blanket of Stars As their fates intertwine once more, so too do we pour our hearts back into their story once again. Chapter 2 - Episode 1 is almost at the finish line, and it's no mystery what comes next. One main love interest, one major story arc. Here's a small glimpse into Episode 2. For those who've been here since the beginning and remember Prologue Episode 5 when it first dropped, this one's for you. You've been here through everything, and I see you. Thank you for sticking around. And for those who joined us after November 2021, here's a little info: the first animation you see in the video was the main menu animation from Prologue Episode 5—complete with its background track. The music and setup will be reused in Chapter 2 - Episode 2, with Leah instead of Emma's younger version. Language has its own special genres. And your toddler is working to master them all. Not long ago, I shared a fantastic video example of a toddler engaged in a pretend phone call. He took conversational turns, laughed at his imaginary partner’s joke, and knew to end the call with a goodbye and pressing the “end call” button on his toy telephone. At less than 2 years old, he had the phone call genre down pat. Here’s another amazing example (shared to IG by walking_faith_4u): the bedtime story. Watch as this little one takes over “reading” duties - turning the tables on her adoring dad. I’ve shared lots of reading videos before, but this one is notable in its complexity. Listen as she uses variegated babbling (which combines a wide variety of syllables and sounds) to recount a lengthy story for dad. Listen as well to the tone and rhythm of her voice. It’s the same soft, flowy, and expressive style he uses to help calm her as she begins preparing to drift off to sleep post story. I’d say this little one has the “bedtime story” genre on lock. Isn’t it amazing to see how children concurrently learn not just language, but the different contexts and styles of its use? Just fantastic.

I’m not here to place blame, pass judgment, or get anyone in trouble. I simply want to share my experience and tell my side of the story. Have yall seen the new video for Assets yet?! A little ode to an American classic comedy, can you guess what movie was the inspiration for skit the beginning of the video? Also do yall like this new character Pam that’s doing Keke’s hair? Hahahaha Shout out to Ian Evans for that “masculine charm feminine tribute” tribute haha. I am so proud of this video because it encompasses how I use my artistry to tell my story but also manifest greater stories for us all. I have to say this arrest video really caught me off guard. Female police officer pulls over a truck for not coming to a complete stop at a stop, sign. The woman behind the wheel obliges and gives her drivers license. The officer discovers that the woman’s insurance had lapsed two days earlier so she commands of the woman to get out of her car. The woman wants to know why in the officer says I don’t have to give you a reason get out of the car this escalates as you can imagine the officer proceeds to drag the woman out of her car, slap her around and get extremely rough with her.. Shockingly so for something like this.. I want your opinions on this one because I’m generally pro law-enforcement, but this seems over the top. She gave this woman a concussion. There’s more to the story and I will Post part two for context the and conclusion.

Many people think I do this full time and while I do make a little bit of money from this (when I say ‘a little’ please understand it’s truly a LITTLE), I do it because I truly love and believe in Philadelphia, the sport of soccer, and sharing the stories of people putting their passion on display I’d absolutely love to do this full time some day, but until then I’m going to continue covering and putting out as much content as I can for everyone to enjoy because that’s what I think people deserve - good, honest, authentic, boots on the ground coverage of the people and the things that make our city so great Thank you for the support whether you’ve been here for a while or you’re a new follower - it really means a lot to me 🫶
