There is a conditional risk of a significant #tornado this afternoon and evening across far northeast Oklahoma into northwestern Arkansas, possibly into southwestern Missouri. We are chasing this #tornado threat to our show in Mountain Home, and resuming the chase after the event during the magic hour. Team Dominator STORM CHASE MODE to be activated March 4-7 and beyond as an insane pattern for early season severe weather and #tornado threats is upon us! We will start with a warm-up chase in the Arklatex on March 4, then retreat west to the Texas Panhandle into western Oklahoma on March 5, with the #tornado threat likely peaking on March 6 across North Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and into Missouri. The Mid-March period is also very active as supported by background Pacific Ocean Climate conditions. Full-blown storm chase mode is about to be activated

PDS #DOMINATOR ENGINE REPLACEMENT UPDATE We have an active pattern for severe weather ahead this end if May and June, with many more #tornado intercepts for science expected. @jakescustomdiesel and Will Clay are racing to replace the engine of the Dominator 3 in time for these severe weather and tornado episodes. A week ago an EF-3 tornado touched down in a highly populated part of St. Louis. The tornado sirens weren’t sounded. The NWS issued a warning with only 11 minutes of lead time before the tornado touched down. 5 people lost their lives. There is technology available to prevent these things from happening. One year ago today, a historic EF-3 tornado with peak winds of 152 mph struck St. Louis, causing over $1.6 billion in damage and 4 fatalities, the city's first deadly tornado since 1959. Following a year long review, NWS St. Louis officially increased the tornado's width to 3,168 yards (1.8 miles), making it the widest in the region since 1950. Including straight line winds, the total damage swath exceeds 2 miles. This parking lot security footage shows a person riding out the tornado inside their car. Watch the upper right corner to see a confirmed tornado by the National Weather Service . Nobody was injured, but the storm severely impacted parts of St. Johns County. Beware of downed trees and power lines. The National Weather Service is investigating.
