Finished 007 and I've seen the First Light. Excellent game and I'll share more later but one thing that stands out for me apart from Bond's charm is how good the hand to hand combat is! I played it in hard mode and 3 hits and you are done. Had to be very precise with what I did, no spamming allowed. Fighting more than 1 person at a time felt like a big challenge.

It is still blowing my mind that the new Lego Batman is a new Arkham game in nearly every single way. I literally cannot wait! Things to be hyped about in Lego Batman: - Open world Gotham City that isn't in a state of "lockdown", there are civilians all around the city for once! - Arkham style combat, described as being nearly identical and all your muscle memory will work from those games - The story covers nearly all Batman movies and big moments, I really adore this aspect and excited to see how its all integrated - Customizing the batcave is a dream come true - The Batmobile and bat bikes look so fun to drive, and actually being able to use the movie batmobiles like the tumbler or the muscle car from The Batman with movie-accurate engine sounds is impressive - Gotham City is massive, I definitely think this is much bigger than Arkham Knight, and it looks really detailed with a distinct style in each island - Having difficulty settings in a lego game for what I believe is the first time ever is a huge thing for me as I always thought they were too easy and wished there was an option to add challenge, which they finally have - Co-op is always fun, I do wish they had online co-op but I'll def play this in couch co-op with my brother Are y'all hyped for Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight? 007: First Light is looking to be an amazing game. Developed by the same people behind the HITMAN franchise, it combines the open-ended levels of Hitman with setpieces on the scale of Uncharted. Major Features: - New focus on Combat, you can throw almost any object around the environment at enemies during combat, or throw enemies themselves for finishers - "Bluffing" is an ability that allows you to lie and convince enemies to allow you entry with no suspicion - You can even throw your weapon at enemies if you run out of ammo - Hacking is a major ability that works a lot like Watch Dogs, it is helpful in both combat and in stealth for distracting enemies - Bond gets a host of unique gadgets such as the Q-Lens which highlight interesting opportunities - New gadgets are developed as you progress through the story - Focus Mode is a slow-mo mode for percision shots - Combat challenges taking place around various locations from the story and has a dedicated leaderboard - Experience points can be spent on new gadget upgrades, weapons and unique outfits - IO will release new challenges constantly post-launch 007 First Light is releasing May 27th on Xbox, PC, PS5 and Switch 2, I am really excited for this game as a huge fan of the recent Hitman trilogy, I have a good feeling that this is going to end up a banger and very replayable like hitman!
