Fully convinced that this scene from The Mandalorian is exactly what George Lucas aesthetically wanted out of his proposed Star Wars Underworld live action series

Looks more like a Cyberpunk/Blade Runner crossover.

That was George's vision for Underworld

You bet (again 😁).

They perfectly built up the New Republic Coruscant and how things work there after the Empire era PERFECTLY our first time seeing Coruscant and how it operates in the New Republic after seeing it in the Prequel and Empire era

So, Blade Runner?

Yes this is world building done well. Even if you don’t like the episode, you can feel the world you’re watching and understand it($120 mil a season btw) the acolyte builds no worlds. It shows Coruscant with no life. The sets are shitty and nothing feels like Star Wars until you see a lightsaber. The fact Acolyte was $180 million astounds me. 8 30 minute episodes and you have yet to see anything that shows you why this show cost so much. You can like the acolyte or hate it, but everyone should agree or acknowledge the fact that the Acolyte looks like a $50 million CW show that does nothing to engage the audience outside of lightsaber duels and wierd fans wanting to fuck characters.

Disney if you're listening - a series like this would do gangbusters.

The fact that everything from Palpatines first name to both SOLO and SW: Rebels were originally designed for Star Wars Underworld is insane. So much of post-Disneys release material (pos and neg) was pulled out from this show is insane.

Rangers of the new republic...
