Think there is a Wichita State influence to Zach Bush in his first year as a head coach at Maize Eagle AD? A little more than 12 years after 'kel made “Redbird” famous, Maize dialed it up earlier today in a win vs. Manhattan. Not a bad recreation from Brayden Myovela.

This Dividion 3 baseball player was given a tounge lashing by his coach for not hustling out of the batter’s box and admiring his homerun. The coach yells at him to hustle because he doesn’t know if it’s going to be a home run and he needs to hustle. He tells him if he ever does that again, it will be his last at bat there. Some are saying the coach is being ridiculous, let the player have fun. Others are saying the coach was right on the money and that’s what is wrong with players today- too much showboating. What do you think? Do you think the coach overacted or do you think he was correct?

Disturbing video recorded by 16-year-old Nathaniel Jouett before he carried out a mass shooting at the Clovis-Carver Library, a public library in downtown Clovis, New Mexico. Jouett unleashed 14 rounds from a .380-caliber handgun, indiscriminately striking five individuals. Tragically, two women, Wanda Walters, 61, and Kristina Carter, 48, both library employees, lost their lives in the attack. The other three victims included a 10-year-old child who was among those injured. Upon the arrival of law enforcement, Jouett surrendered without resistance and admitted to having meticulously planned the assault. He revealed that his initial intention was to carry out a shooting at a school before ending his own life. On February 15, 2019, Jouett was sentenced to two life sentences, with the possibility of parole, in addition to 40 years in prison.

The Pirates haven’t won a Paul Skenes start in over a month and are currently trailing the Marlins 2-1… Skenes has seen a dip in his fastball velocity this season and nobody in Pittsburgh seems to notice he’s holding the baseball with a different set of muscles this year…. Here he is last June holding the baseball with his interossei muscles (left video) compared to his flexor digitorum superficialis today (right video)…. The interossei originate on the hand, the FDS originate on the humerus…. This is why his hand & wrist orientation is so different at the top of his motion as well as at his follow through….

Marvin “Popcorn” Sutton was a legendary Appalachian moonshiner from Maggie Valley, North Carolina, known for producing what many considered exceptional moonshine. His trademark overalls, fedora, and long beard made him a recognizable folk figure. Sutton openly shared his methods in books and videos, even as his work remained illegal. In 2008, authorities arrested him and seized more than 1,700 gallons of moonshine. The following year, he was sentenced to 18 months in prison. Rather than serve the sentence, Sutton ended his life, a choice many viewed as a final assertion of independence. His death only deepened his legend, inspiring documentaries, books, and a whiskey brand bearing his name.

What a HUGE resume boosting win for No.13 UNG Baseball, defeating No.4 North Greenville 4-2. In a LOADED region like the Southeast, every quality win matters that much more for regional bids and this was a big one for the Nighthawks. Phillip Ard and Andrews Opata both homered to lead the way on offense for North Georgia. Opata hit his 10th home run and Ard hit his 19th with a Top 5 in D2 78th RBI. Pierce Williams held his own as the starter on the bump, going 4 innings, allowing just one hit and no runs with 3 strikeouts. #D2Baseball

Matt Ponatoski will soon have to decide whether he’s heading to the MLB or will suit up for Kentucky football AND baseball. 🏈⚾ “I’m going to be fully prepared to go to school and go be at Kentucky and enroll and go compete for a quarterback battle when I get there. But at the same time, like going and putting my best foot forward to these MLB teams and showing them like I have what it takes for you to draft me.” Ponatoski on where he is at in the decision-making. “It’s one A and one B,” Ponatoski said. “I’m going to go have a great career at Kentucky, or I’m going to go be a professional baseball player. It’s like you can’t draw it up much better.” The MLB Draft will be taking place July 11-13 in Philadelphia and Ponatoski will soon have to make a decision in a few months. 😼 #BBN

They just had 4 days off and every team has either 12 or 13 pitchers on their 26 man roster and somehow they don’t have enough pitching to get through a 9 inning baseball game! Here’s what I mean by choose variations that “autocorrect” This is my 5 year old. He’s never lifted. With a dowel on his back he rounds the back during a squat, even with no weight. I could give him verbal cues & eventually get him right, but it would be a challenge. 1st rep with a db goblet style & a medball underneath he squats with perfect technique. I didn’t coach him at all. The exercise variation forces good technique through tactile cues instead of verbal cues. When working with young athletes finding ways to “autocorrect “ good technique is a cheat code.
