And the coolest part probably is that the server that powers at this moment isn't that powerful! i7-8700 CPU 3.20GHz (6 CPUs, 12 threads) and 128 GB RAM

My process is not much different from what ignite does It’s a good old “take a dockerfile and build it to a folder, then dump a kernel on top.” I described it a while ago in this blog post

What do you use for launching firecracker vms? Not ignite?

It’s a 100% custom daemon. Much like ignite but with a REST API and tailored for multi-VM playgrounds (so a bunch of extra networking magic).

Around 10:30 Thursday night, the FDNY responded to a 5-alarm fire at 855 Prospect Avenue in the Bronx. Around 200 firefighters and EMS personnel responded. There were no serious injuries. “Units arrived in less than four minutes. We found fire at a commercial establishment and it was extending to the adjacent stores. We also had fire on the roof of the six-story multiple dwelling and fire extended to the second floor. Those were quickly contained. The multiple dwelling was entirely evacuated, said Assistant Chief Kevin Brennan. FDNY Fire Marshals are working to determine the cause of the fire.

Young Ben Cohen gives a statement on the effects being wrongly named has had on him and his family. It took me less than 5 minutes to find Ben online when people were saying he was the Bondi terrorist. Less than 5 minutes with a 3 word search to know he was not the man in the video. Why didn't they do the same due dilligence? Those people have almost guaranteed the government will pass the mis/disinformation laws. Thanks a lot 😠

Mom is subbing in for #Littlehands on the couch today! I totally forgot about those bedazzled jeans. I remember seeing a pair of Ron Herman jeans at Fred Segal on Melrose, and of course we didn’t have a quarter of the money it had cost to buy them. So I got it in my head that I could make them myself – which I did, and it took at least 15 hours. The bedazzler kit I got didn’t work so I ended up using needle nose pliers to do it by hand. I would push the metal bracket through the jean from underneath, placing the gemstone on the outer side and bending each bracket prong one by one. A labor of love! Where are those jeans now??
