Mountain Brothers were a hip hop group from Philadelphia, PA that became the first Chinese-American rap group to sign with a major record label. The group formed in 1994 after all attended Penn State University in State College, PA. There was an electronic music lab at Penn State which they took advantage of by using it as their recording studio. Mountain Brothers’ goal was to get signed to a major label so their music could be known nationwide. Their method was to send their demos to a variety of music labels; somewhat anonymously. Chops stated, “We didn’t want people to prejudge based on us being Asian so we would send a demo and a letter saying, ‘We have a picture, but it doesn’t matter what we look like if you don’t like our music.’ People that knew music, it was their job to like music, so they loved our music and then we sent them our picture; their mind was blown! The group became the first Chinese-American rap group to sign with a major music label when they signed with Ruffhouse Records in 1996. Ruffhouse released them in 1998 after only releasing a promotional single. The group disbanded in 2003 after the release of the album ‘Triple Crown’.

A group of friends attended a house party after being invited by someone they believed was the homeowner, only to get the shock of their lives when the house nanny found them, activated the alarm siren and shouted “Wezi!” They later realized their host was actually a 17-year-old gardener who had invited them to party at someone else’s home.

I have been warning the National Unity Platform leaders for a long time to be careful. There was information that some of them could be targeted for poisoning, and I told them to take it seriously

These are Sokoto State indigenes calling on the Governor of Sokoto State to come to their rescue after spending one month undergoing army screening in Sokoto. They were later taken to Oshogbo, a place where they know no one. Six to seven of them were abandoned at the gate, with no place to sleep and no money to buy food. They are appealing to the Governor of Sokoto State and members of his cabinet to urgently intervene and rescue them, as those responsible for their situation have already abandoned them.

Walz: The other side spent a lot of time promising that they would leave things up to the states. I'm willing to take them at their word for that. The moment they try to bring a hateful agenda to this state, I'm ready to stand up and fight for the way we do things here.

The first time Rihanna publicly showed her support for A$AP Rocky was in 2013, when she attended his concert at the Palladium in Los Angeles. They were just friends back then, but the love and respect between them was already obvious. Meanwhile, Rihanna was already one of the biggest superstars in the world. 🥺❤️

Former Army Ranger John Lovell on why trusting the government to "educate" your children is a terrible idea. "You're wondering why everyone's gone woke, and has no idea what bathroom to use anymore?" "Well, you gave them to the government for their entire childhood." "You saw them at dinner, and you attended their sporting events, but the government raised your kids." "You saw them every day, but you didn't raise them." "You didn't log enough hours each day to counteract all the poison, and time-wasting, and ideological, propagandistic crap that they were getting fed year after year after year."

Lina and Sophie had the hardest imaginable first year on this planet but oh how their lives have changed for the better... Since they were born a year ago… 🇹🇭 Lived on the streets in Thailand 🐕 Grew up as puppies on a construction site 🪨 Had people throw rocks at them to chase them away 🦠 We were given 24 hours to rescue them or they would be poisoned 🤒 Shortly after rescuing them they got Parvo. They lost their little brother but they both survived. It was touch and go for 2 whole weeks on a drip in the vets 😳 They were in quarantine for another 4 weeks and become utterly terrified of all humans 📆 After months of slowly training and meeting their new owners who came to visit they slowly came out of their shells. ✈️ Their next challenge was their flight to England to their forever homes. These 2 girls have overcome all that in just 1 year and look at them now. They are still slowly settling in and decompressing but look at their happy little faces. Lina and Sophie are both fully home 🏡
