For anyone who is interested this is what they look like under UV light. Also because it gets brought up all the time this was discovered AFTER Phineas and Ferb was on the air.

Platypuses are the result of evolution hitting the randomizer in a character creation screen.

Joe Rogan shocks sunlight expert Rowan Jacobsen after revealing red light therapy completely reversed his vision loss: ROGAN: “Red light therapy took away all the problems I was having with my eyesight. They say to wear goggles, but I just keep my eyes open.” JACOBSEN: “Wow. Light medicine is going to be extremely important in the next 10-20 years.” ROGAN: “Gary Brecka explained red light therapy to me, so I bought one of these expensive full body red light beds.” JACOBSEN: “And that actually improved your vision?” ROGAN: “It didn’t just stop the degeneration, but it actually reversed it. I used to need 3X reading glasses just to read my phone. Within about a month, my vision started improving. Two years later, I don’t need reading glasses at all.” JACOBSEN: “There’s real research showing red light improves mitochondrial function. The eyes use more energy than almost any other cells in the human body.” ROGAN: “Why are dermatologists ignoring evidence that different forms of light can heal the human body?” JACOBSEN: “They’ve really only avoided me. I don’t think they’re ready for this type of research.” ROGAN: “There’s already a tremendous amount of data. I don’t understand how someone can call themselves an expert on skin and ignore light therapy.” JACOBSEN: “They 100% should be experts on all this.” ROGAN: “There’s not a lot of scientists so they need to start doing their job. We can’t just rely on old data. They’re doing the whole field a disservice.”
