Fun fact : The loading animations while riding the trains & elevators are actually Live2D animations. She's made of several 2D objects layered together and they're moved in a very subtle way to make it seem like she's a 3D render. Clever! #metroid #metroiddread #samus

also shoutout to the "face" that the trains have.

update: this applies to just the train loading animations.

Scan any documents, convert images into text, PDF files, etc. 👍

You got a source for that? In the game files they're just .webm videos, which gives no indication how they were originally created. The aliasing and lighting changes really look like a 3D render to me, though, and it would be way easier to create them that way.

How so? The loading animations are video files, looping 1s animations, individual renders for different directions and suits They're simply pre-rendered 3D given the aliasing and development resources There are even "unused" videos of the final area elevator with early game suits

This seems like it’s made up and based on nothing

Interesting. Here’s another. While Live2D layers 2D objects to represent 3D objects, actual 3D models like polyhedra are made up of polygons, 2D shapes that are arranged in 3D space. Think of a cube being made of six faces. Those faces are squares. 😁

Adam is this true

Samus vtubing out here like "here's my 2D build chat, what do you think?"

how would you even prove this given that the animations are webm videos?

this is just misinformation dawg
