Fun fact: When asked about a potential Kuze comeback, Hitoshi Ozawa suggest the idea of Like A Dragon Minus One, similar to Godzilla. (And he wants the Sega CG team to make him look less scary, if it ever happened)

I took my 12yo grandson to see Godzilla Minus One in the theater. He was of course excited, but I was a little concerned because would it be too scary. The WHOLE MOVIE he was sitting forward in his seat, his hands gripping the armrests, staring unblinking, jaw agape. He was picking up on stuff I didn't get. But you need to know my grandson has an eidetic (photographic) memory. So I'm watching it, and there's a report that Godzilla is seen near Giza. Big deal I think, but my grandson gasps and says "Oh no!" Because HE had remembered that the girl got a job in Giza. But I had not. When it ended, I asked my grandson if it was too scary. He said, breathlessly, "No!" Then I asked him what was the best part, and he said, "Every part was the best part." I reluctantly had to say that despite my great love for the original 1954 movie, Godzilla Minus One beats it. Two other facts: 1) The IJN Takao was a real ship which survived the war. It even survived Leyte Gulf! 2) Godzilla Minus One cost less than $15 million. We could have made 25 of them for the cost of Avatar: The Way of Water. Or 15 for the cost of Wakanda Forever. Godzilla Minus One punked the American movie system so hard.

Earlier attempts to recruit Takashi Yamazaki and comments from Shinji Higuchi suggest Toho always wanted a full-CG Godzilla. So when an animatronic came up for Shin Godzilla, it was a very contentious issue. Reportedly, Hideaki Anno took one look at it and basically said, "nah."

A Costly Miss for Rowdy !! Yes, #DC's initial choice was #VijayDeverakonda, and he even loved the idea. But at the same time, he was working on Kingdom, which had similar shades of characterization. If it had happened, it would've been a terrific comeback for him.

I will always stand by the fact that Tiger Claw is one of the absolute best and most intriguing TMNT villains ever. I genuinely believe he had potential to be THE best if the writers actually took the time to flesh him out more and make him more of a consistent threat.

Anyone that’s ever done any amount of flying knows that if you see the Captain (pilot) it is a brief glimpse perhaps on the jetway or at the entrance near the cockpit, so the fact that the Captain had to be the one to ask him to turn his phone down tells me that wasn’t the first interaction on the subject and when the Captain asked him “do you want to go to Fort Lauderdale” and he didn’t make the flight suggest he just couldn’t keep his mouth shut. And of course it is RACISM😢

Van Hollen: And as we were talking, one of the government people came over and deposited two other glasses on the table with ice.. they looked like margaritas and if you look at the one they put in front of Kilmar, it actually had a little less liquid than the one in front of me. To try to make it look, I assume, like he drank out of it… But this is a lesson into the lengths that President Bukele will do to deceive people about what's going on and it shows the lengths that the trump administration, the president will go to because when he was asked about a reporter about this, he just went along for the ride. So, the white house and the president have been lying about this case from the beginning

You can make a Netflix style Documentary about anything. So I had the idea: If Netflix asked me to make a movie about Hard Scrabble Road, it’d would probably look like this 😂

when yunho said “please look forward to the comeback a lot,” he meant it as “we’ll have a comeback someday! bc we will do it someday!” the members were flustered and asked him right after getting off stage what he meant. so it’s not an immediate comeback.

The silver-grey suit and hair in Collateral (2004) were designed by Michael Mann to make Tom Cruise look like a "ghost." The goal was a look so monochromatic and middle-of-the-road that if a witness were asked to describe him, they would find he looked like everyone and no one at once.

Bobby Lee asked Shannon Sharpe if he thinks Black women avoid dating Asian men because they believe Asian men have small p-nises and whether Shannon thinks that’s true about Bobby 😭😭💀 “Statistically, Asian men are not as blessed… but you are good in mathematics.” “No one wants to see a Godzilla every night… You have a Godzilla, and I know just by the look. It’s scary.” 🤣

Vladimir Chizhov, first deputy chairman of the Defense and Security Committee of Russia's Federation Council, thinks the West is jealous of the Oreshnik missile: "If he [President Macron] wants to approach us to buy Oreshnik, I think we won't sell it to him for now. Make their own, a similar one? Well, I would venture to suggest that the technical genius of the French military-industrial complex is not quite up to that level."

There's also another aspect of the original idea that Minus diminishes is the fact Goku was basically an outcast to his own people because he was too weak as a baby. Hence why he was sent to Earth It hits home even more when Goku doesn't care about that fact because when he's happy to be on Earth as a result
