Fun Fact: When threatened the hognose snake will dramatically writhe in pain and turn over onto its back sticking its tongue out. If it's turned back onto its stomach it will flip back over insisting its really dead! They even emit a smelly odor 🐍☠️🤪

This is both funny and cute. I’ve encountered several hognose snakes and flipped them over, only to watch them flip back over onto their backs. They are good snakes.
