Many of the critical weight range marsupials will do this. When we (ecologists) trap them for research we have to put the pouch young back in the pouch and tape it shut (w/medical tape) otherwise they will fall out again, as the pouch muscles stay relaxed for quite a while.

This school did a very beautiful initiative on Mother’s Day. They secretly invited all the mothers of the children to the school without telling the kids. Then they clicked photos of each child one by one while making them sit on a chair, and during the photo, the child’s mother was quietly made to sit behind them. Later, when the children were shown their photos, they noticed that their mother was sitting behind them in the picture. As soon as they turned back, their mother was actually there. The same was done with every child. The happiness on the children’s faces after seeing their mothers was completely different. This was a really beautiful initiative by the school. It truly deserves appreciation.
