Miller annoyed people because he was overly candid & came across as a bit arrogant. But he REALLY knew what he was talking about. I like guys who don’t sugar coat everything, Miller was the best in the booth, and yes, he could over do it on occasion. He respected Jack a lot.

Johnny Miller was one of the best. A disservice to the game/fans to not have him, McCord and, Kostis on broadcasts any longer.

Growing up, Jack was my golf idol so I paid attention to him as much as I could. I even modeled my swing characteristics after his. (High left heel at the top, high hands, left heel down to start the downswing.). Now, while I was never a fan of Johnny Miller as a player, I respected his career as a commentator and always trusted his knowledge of the swing and the game. I find myself beginning to respect Johnny even more now as we've all gotten to see more of the man Johnny is outside of the game. A man of faith who deeply loves his family, and he obviously has immense respect for Jack and but also respects the players who came after them. Especially Tiger. Wish Johnny would still do the odd tournament here and there. I miss his voice in the booth.

Jack Nicklaus has posted a video message on Instagram to celebrate re-acquiring the Nicklaus Companies: “You may have heard that I’ve re-acquired the businesses of the company I founded over 50 years ago, the Nicklaus Companies. “Everything I’ve done in my career and life has been about family and building a legacy. And today, the Nicklaus Companies, are back in the hands of my family and me.” Jack Nicklaus was awarded $50 million in a defamation lawsuit against the Nicklaus Companies back in October, and he was then cleared to buy the assets of the firm for $35.7 million. Jack won 18 majors including 2 US Amateurs and his LLC named “20 majors” has acquired his name, image and likeness as of March 2026, as well as his golf design business, ending the corporate litigation.

I’ve never heard this guy use such blatant legalese ever, and there’s NO reason that a question needed to be asked this way. It’s clear, in my view, that this was specifically written down word for word and it was required that he deliver it at some point. It also shows to me he was not debating at all in good faith. Candace knew what he was doing immediately and handled this perfectly.
