Funk masterpiece.

Jesus, when music was really good and you could dance or grind!

☝🏽 Flashdance Light & Knee Deep 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

True Masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🏾

The eternal funk anthem: Funkadelic's "One Nation Under a Groove". Pure life philosophy and unstoppable rhythm! 🎶🌍 🤔 Fun fact: The iconic line came from a casual observation by a George Clinton friend outside the UN headquarters, while the band's prop Mothership was landing, comparing the scene to "one nation under a groove". Incredible! Did you know? 🤯

Some of Junie Morrison's best work!

One of my all time favorite bands. I'll always wonder what it would have been like had they not lost Glen Goins. But of course, The Mothership scooped him up

This is one of my Dad’s favorite albums. When I was a kid, that lady on the right used to creep me out lol

Oh yes it certainly is! And my favourite

P Funk LPs seem to end up in UK record shop bargain bins. I got Clones, Nation and a Bootsy album. Rather good.

"Fried ice cream is a reality!"

Yes it is😊

I am from this generation of Soul and R&B. I need some help identifying a song or the artist. One line of it was... plop plop, fizz fizz, I'll never tell what funk is ...... I last heard it in 1981 in my dorm room. Never heard it again. WHO IS IT?
