The clumsily named Social Media Age-Restricted Users Bill will require all users to verify their age before signing in to social media platforms. The question was in reference to claims by students today that they could easily find a way to bypass any such regulation. In response, Mr Luxon totally ignored the substance of the question and entered into a senseless diatribe of unproven claims and mindless slogans. Andrew Hastie is most likely Australia’s next Prime Minister. Something tells me he won’t be getting the same affectionate hugs from NZ PM Chris Luxon that Anthony Albanese received. Last week Mr Hastie launched a stinging attack on the Net Zero policies of the Australian Labor govt. Sadly, almost every criticism he makes applies to Chris Luxon’s govt as well. New Zealand has one politician who speaks similarly to Mr Hastie, but he’s not anywhere near as direct. NZ First’s Shane Jones is restricted in what he can say because he’s a member of the governing coalition. However Shane needs to listen to this speech from Mr Hastie and give a NZ version at the next coalition meeting. Directing it to the Blue Green National party and its UN besotted leader Luxon. Someone has to stand up for regular New Zealanders too! This is a little longer than my usual videos at 3 minutes 47 seconds. However its well worth a watch. If only one New Zealand MP could stand up in the house and speak these same truths.

The Prime Minister made this assertion on Hosking’s show this morning, and Mr Hosking never questioned it. When so many questions needed to be asked. Not to mention truckloads of increased production costs. Why didn’t Mike Hosking ask one follow up question relating to the comparative economics of staying in/ getting out? Conditions of staying in are NZ must pay billions to the world bank and slowly kill off our agricultural industries. These industries, Luxon claims, bring in $10,000 per year for every person in New Zealand. So if we kill off or reduce this source of income how can it be worth it? Hope Hoskings asks these questions next time. Hope too Mr Luxon gives some rational answers.

Luxon and Willis have lost confidence of the business community with a wave of negative feeddback from business leaders squarely aimed at them being run in media. Last week it was Oliver Hartwhich, Simon Bridges and Craig Stobo, now Jordan Williams from the Tax Payers Union has just claimed that Willis and Luxon are pandering to the left for votes, and the amount of Bureacrats has INCREASED under National as well as our debt borrowing and they are taking us down a path of destruction. National needs to sort themselves out man, Luxon must go along with all the other progressive garbage in that declining party. English writer and defender of Western civilisation Douglas Murray has something to say that is very pertinent to New Zealand and the situation we are in today. He doesn’t hold back. Mr Murray’s words give rise to the question- why is there no one in New Zealand defending our developed culture with the same kind of zeal the narcissist Mr Waititi exercises in his drive to return us to pre-European culture? IMHO Seymour’s Treaty Principles Bill is doing something quite minor compared to what really should be done. For just a few examples, the defunding of all govt race based departments, the closure of the Waitangi Tribunal and the removal of taxation concessions for all so called Maori enterprises. Mr Waititi is welcome to what he perceives as his own culture if he wants it so badly, but he should not be robbing every other New Zealander in pursuit of that objective. "Its not a game" Newly recruited Breakfast show presenter Tova O'Brien reprimands the New Zealand Prime Minister for not treating her questions with the seriousness she demands. Mr Luxon was asked about the racial make up of his new cabinet and he was clearly not ready for this line of questioning. He should have been. Anyone paying attention to NZ politics knows the nation's primary govt owned broadcaster has been captured by Maori radicals. TVNZ management are intent on driving a separatist wedge into NZ society and Ms Tova O'Brien is quite clearly on board with this objective. As for playing the game, all Mr Luxon has ever needed to say is that MPs are chosen strictly on merit. Except he can't say this. For he has previously on frequent occasions admitted this is not the case. If the National party would do what voters want it would sell off TVNZ or at least make it subscription only. While National fail to take this simple measure NZ will continue to be divided by taxpayer supported separatist activists who, if TVNZ was privatised, would fade into obscurity.

One of the most devastating critiques of PM Luxon you will hear, and its worse because it comes from a real businessman. Chris Barret is not one of those male wokesters or DEI females that head up NZ's cronyist govt owned businesses. Air NZ and the power companies. He heads Steel Worx. Its a real business, he's a real director and he's far from happy. Especially over what Mr Luxon said in Rotorua last week. A lifetime National voter, Mr Barret says he's not voting for them this election. He wants a coaltion made up of the existing parties, but National with far less power. Which seems to be the way a lot of people are thinking. On the other hand, this is getting serious. We can't put National out of the picture altogether, or fall to the point Labour/ Greens can win. Someone needs to get a handle on things at the Nats. If indeed there is anyone there capable of doing so.

How desperate is Luxon that be rolled his wife out to bat for him. He’s desperate and this interview was sickening ; On the challenges of being married to the PM : “He couldn’t eat my fish pie that he loves” “Sometimes he takes a call in our big house instead of his very nice study” - yes she said that. She also said that he gave up a lucrative job to be PM - so we should all be grateful to the flop. “He does this because he loves N.Z” - actually lady he loves India and globalism and padding his CV. His wife explains that NZ doesn’t know it but Te Gimp is a : “Gem, and one of the few people who can be PM, because of his extraordinary leadership skills, and his outstanding intelligence” she said that with a straight face… kinda. When asked why his polling is in the toilet - and this is the best part - after she dismissed non mainstream & social media as full of “looney tunes and conspiracy” she’s says the MSM doesn’t paint him in a good light, and there’s no way for him to respond to it, Politicians don’t have very many ways to connect with voters” She’s batshit crazy. Social media is now the big part of a 24 HR news cycle lady - but these two gimps dismiss it as conspiracy and looney tunes. No wonder Luxon wants to get control of social media, he thinks he can make us like him. Everyone knows the MSM is bent, but here’s her gimp husband who refuses to do anything about the BSA. Luxon’s social media is the absolute worst. Most of his unpopularity has been self inflicted. She says “These days Politicians don’t have many ways to reach people” Luxon refuses to go on the Platform with Plunket, even though the audience is a prime target for him. She says “there’s no way for us to combat the narrative from the media” Um see the paragraph above, and maybe take note of how WP uses social media, he just fried Jonathan Ayling like an egg .. by using .. social media. He uses social media to suck up to Muslims. Finally she says NZ doesn’t have critical thinking skills to realise how amazing Luxon is. Jeez Louise. Finally she indeed kiwis are too dumb and have no critical thinking which is why they don’t like Luxon. Good way to build support lady, insult the voters. Is Luxon’s mum going to be the next one up? She going on a podcast to say how Chrissy would sort out the recycling as a kid which paved the way for him being a worshipper of the Paris agreement ? New Zealand PM Chris Luxon rejects outright the suggestion that his govt might use nuclear power. Instead, Mr Luxon wants to double the supply of “renewables”. He says nuclear would be unsuitable because of NZ’s earthquake problem. However the threat of earthquakes in Japan is pretty similar to NZ and they are expanding their nuclear energy resources. In 2023, nuclear power accounted for approximately 8.5% of Japan's electricity supply. They intend to increase this to 20-22% by 2030. Partly to reduce CO2 emissions in line with Japan’s Net Zero obligations. So why is it OK for Japan but not New Zealand? IMHO the renewables obsessed Mr Luxon and the gormless CEOs running our mainly govt owned energy generation/ transmission companies are going to send NZ industry to the wall. Leaving aside the effect constantly rising electricity prices have on the man in the street. Through grocery prices and other everyday purchases. If we leave coal, hydro, gas and geothermal aside for the sake of the argument, nuclear may or not be a viable energy option for NZ. However it can’t be any worse than the fools errand we are presently on with wind and solar.

Saying although it could happen in the long term, he preferred in the short term to make govt more efficient. One way of doing this was to “digitalise” govt in the manner that had been done in other countries, with his preferred model being Estonia. Estonia, which gained independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, runs a system requiring everyone to have an ID card and to deal with government mostly over the internet. Mr Luxon says the system would work well in New Zealand as we have a similar MMP style of govt. Which seems like a strange path of reasoning to me, and I can’t see Nzers accepting Digital ID with the same enthusiasm as Estonia. Nevertheless, it seems as if National want it, and given Labour/Greens are hardly likely to oppose the idea, it could well happen. Unless some other center right party stands against it.

The NZ PM's wife Amanda Luxon appeared on the Dom Harvey podcast a few days ago. In a belated attempt to shore up her husbands fast falling popularity. Ms Luxon IMHO comes across as strangely disconnected from reality with perceptions on the media that seem almost prehistoric. She says her husband is (among other things) "authentic integral & super bright" and claims the media are not showing this real Christopher Luxon to the public. However such criticisms seem out of kilter with the PM's views. He has often praised the media and bestows gifts upon them at any opportunity. Mrs Luxon also says there are some things that shouldn't be politicised. Like climate change (which is undeniably real) and the arts. Really??? The whole podcast is almost 2 hours long and sometimes there's just too much information. Like the fact that when they were dating they used their fingers to draw plans for their future on the steamed up windows of their car. Its a spirited defence from Ms Luxon but I don't think its going to help much.

New ACT candidate Paul Henry thinks US President Donald Trump is "on the cusp of barking mad". A view that will no doubt earn him the favour of his party's leader. In this interview with Stuff reporter Jenna Lynch, Mr Henry shares other views. For example- Chris Luxon would make a better PM than Winston Peters NZ's restrictive firearms laws, imposed by Jacinda Ardern in a knee jerk reaction to the Christchurch shootings, are about right. He wants the Maori seats abolished, saying the need for special Maori representation that initially underpinned their creation no longer applies. He is critical of NZ First for opposing the India Free Trade agreement, saying NZ needs such deals for its future prosperity. He also says their claims relating to immigration around the trade deal are "not accurate". He is hopeful of taking ACT from their current 7% polling to 12% by the time of the election (November). Agree or disagree with Mr Henry, he has a refreshingly forthright way of speaking. As I have said previously, IMHO he will do well for ACT as long as he gets his messaging right.

NZ PM Luxon says he is going to "die trying" to introduce legislation that bans kids under 16 from social media. Australian PM Albanese admitted over the weekend that his legislation, held up by many as an excellent example, had failed. Fines for not enforcing the bans were doubled from $50 million to $100 million. When Newstalk ZB presenter Hosking points this out to Luxon he is not fazed. He says when there are more countries enforcing the same bans, the tech companies will be facing a stronger force and will have to comply. Problem with this is that of the many countries and US states that have tried to do the same as Australia, none have been able to claim a resounding success. The bans are not only difficult to implement, they're facing constitutional challenges for infringing upon basic freedoms. Worse, the tech needed to achieve what Luxon says he wants already exists in software produced by Google, Apple, Instagram, Tick Tok and Youtube. So why is Luxon going for a non-effective blanket ban? Its an issue that is annoying National's vote base. Like congestion charging, climate change (net zero) toll roads, intensive housing, mass immigration and Maorification or separatism. It's impossible to think Mr Luxon could be deliberately throwing the election, but man, he's sure trying hard to give that impression.

The fund would cover seismic surveying operations in NZ's known oil and gas basins and hopefully provide subsurface data that will encourage explorers to drill. Mr Luxon also says it is ironic that NZ First helped kill the industry off, but now wants to spend money encouraging it. Well, maybe, but the National party is also due some irony itself. Rather than being part of the govt's 100 days of action, the reverse oil and gas ban legislation wasn't brought to parliament until late last year. As well, Mr Luxon has again and again emphasized to the public that hydrocarbons are a "transitional fuel" and would be phased out to meet net zero targets. His govt has pushed investment in "alternative energy" and of late has announced the building of an LNG import facility. None of these actions encourage oil and gas explorers to come to NZ. Mr Luxon is correct in accusing NZ First of helping to shut down the industry, but he's not free of blame himself. At least Winston Peters has admitted his error and is doing something real to correct it. Rather than faffing around with expensive and impractical solar and wind projects.

As weak as a kitten. Today on Newstalk ZB, PM Luxon proved once and for all he is not the man New Zealand needs to lead it out of its current socio-economic mess. Part two of his interview with tame liberal/ progressive presenter Kerre Woodham where he pretty much caves in on every issue that matters. Not happy with distancing himself from the Trump presidency he goes on to stab both of his coalition partners in the back by making light of two issues they plainly believe are important. He joins in with the host in denigrating David Seymour’s Treaty Principles Bill. They then both go on to make light of Winston Peter’s resistance to the unwanted and informal attempt by the legacy media and separatist radicals to change the country’s name. No matter which side you’re on, these are two vital issues to a lot of New Zealanders. I personally know many who are absolutely fired up over the use of the totally inapplicable word Aotearoa instead of (or along with) New Zealand. “Petty point scoring” Ms Woodham calls it. The Prime Minister proves in this clip just what a spineless compromiser he is at heart and that he is absolutely the wrong man for this time and place. Christopher Luxon is a disaster for the National Party and for New Zealand. He has to go at the earliest opportunity.

Heather Du Plessis-Allan asks about the unpopular decision to do a haka in support of the Maori Party hikoi. Her questions are quite reasonable and fair. In reply Mr Robinson utters a plethora of meaningless word salads made up of empty management buzz terms. It is one of the most appalling interviews I’ve ever heard. (numerous long pauses where Mr Robinson struggles to frame his answers have been cut out) Mark also suggests the action had the full support of the team. However leaks from within suggest this was not the case, and that some players were unhappy with the haka and refused to take part in the flag photo. IMHO NZ rugby won’t escape its tailspin as long as Mark stays at the helm. It is a complete mystery to me as to how someone who thinks and speaks so incoherently ever got the job in the first place?
