Get a parrot ONLY if you are going to make them a big part of your family. They are highly intelligent and sensitive - like an advanced toddler that does not grow up! If you just stick them in a cage, they will be unhealthy, loud and mean! But they can be AWESOME!

They love paper. When I was in elementary school, I didn't have a dog that ate my homework, I had a parakeet. Molly was awesome. He spoke English, French, and Danish. LOVED wine, but was a mean drunk. His hangovers lasted 2 days. Yes, Molly was a male. My baby brother named him.

They're such funny characters. 🤣
