The defenceman had a tremendous showing at the U18s: Most assists (13) and points (14) by a defenceman in the tournament. He was named the tournament’s best defenceman. All in a silver medal performance. And he was the youngest player in college hockey this season.

First impression: Sascha Boumedienne is a well spoken 18 year old. One item he shared is that his interviews with Winnipeg went really well and he was not surprised that the #NHLJets picked him at 28.
