大戦時の名機ってなると零戦とFw190は良く話題に登りますけど、零戦はすぐに米軍機に勝てなくなったのに、Fw190は終戦まで一線で活躍してたように思います。こまめなブラッシュアップが施されそれが機能してたとかなんですか？

基本設計が素晴らしかった&拡張性が高かったのでかなりの派生型が持てたことや任務、用途別に編成も組んでいたので無理が効いた感があります。

そうですか。勉強になりました。逆に零戦は低い技術力を創意工夫と様々なモノを諦めたうえでの戦闘力(超航続力を要求されたのも酷)ですもんね。伸びしろはないよなぁ汗

Father-in-law was a pilot of a Lancaster heavy bomber for RAAF 467 squadron in 1944-1945. In his memoirs he recounts that during the bomb run to the target at night his gunners spotted a Fw190 flying alongside `50 feet away. The German pilot didn't see them. 1/2

Kurt Tank was a cavalry officer in WW1. He designed the 190 to be a "sky cavalry"

確かデビュー戦でスピットファイアMk.Vを圧倒したとか、脚の弱いBf-109の轍を踏まないように、過酷な脚の強度テストをしていたら脚が折れる前に機体のフレームの方が壊れたとか、大したもんです😎

デビュー当時はスピットを圧倒していたらしいです。新たな戦闘機！とイギリスは戦々恐々だったとか。
