recorded back when I was using i3!! wow

You'd look great with a fzf shirt, @typecraft_dev

Oooohhhhh 👀

alias cat=bat then some keymappings to make fzf much better. ctrl+t fuzzy find files/dirs ctrl+r for fuzzy find command history alt+c find and cd into a dir **<tab> for completion, e.g nvim **<tab> for that last command you showed :)

cat

I have added a thing for fzf+bat. So I have the: 1) searchable list of fzf 2) viewable file output of nicely formatted with bat It does the thing and it works. Instead of typing more than I need.

or just set the FZF option to make it default behaviour. set in the shell src file: export FZF_DEFAULT_OPTS="--preview 'cat {}'"

Looove fzf!

it is so cool

Also give skim a try. I've jumped between then and found skim worked great for a few use cases over fzf, but they both are great.

Nice! I use the same with bat for syntax highlighting :)

Finally, some good old terminal techniques in this AI era. By the way, thank you. 1-2 years ago, I took this command from your video and assigned it as the "cook" alias to open a directory's file contents and choose one to open in Neovim. I use it daily.

there should be a social platform where only short banger tech reels are uploaded, and I doom scroll

You forgot to say this could brick your PC. jk.

We want a course a these rate 😭😭😭🔥🔥🔥

been using a lot of `git branch | fzf` for my incredibly disorganized repos. great tool
