Lol, this people and Hollywood stories 🤣

She had cameras so why would she lie? You people koraa why?!

😂😂😂😂

Locals who don't see the significance of these moments make light of Afro-American experiences. These are people connecting to their roots and looking for their history. It's emotional. Like some of our rural folk seeing light or a road for the first time.

You wouldn't understand her until you been in her shoes...majority of them, deep down are looking for a place to call home.

The nonsense some of you write on this app is egregious, someone is narrating something that meant so much to her and her family and you lots are here invalidating her emotions? Obviously you as Ghanaians living in Ghana has no emotional connection like they do to such encounters

I remember the feeling when I went to elmina castle . I can’t really describe it . So imagine a black American with a real history of slavery . I don’t think she’s exaggerating

I been wanting to ask white folks how they feel hearing these barbaric acts of their ancestors??

so true very spiritual grounds

I beg your pardon?

The same Ghana wey we dey?😂

I feel like she's exaggerating and acting at the same time just to make her story look good, Not my motherland Ghana

y'all follow me and let's connect for more intriguing stories. Cheers imma ffbk

the gods are not to be blame.

Most Ghanaians will think that’s she’s giving Hollywood stories, but hey I’ve been there and the spiritual side of that Assin Manso slave river! It’s not easy 🔥🔥🔥🔥

If you want to see how stupid some Ghanaians are, just watch how they dismiss and ridicule the experiences shared by these diasporans. We don’t even see how insensitive the normalization of slavery is let alone ridiculing the whole experience shared by a visitor!

Ebi only these people dey get that experience or what?

lol this funny. 😂 but yh I kind of understand their feelings

Fact even normal Ghanaians can’t stand that river a moment to behold .! Very spiritually strong area .!

@thePOE_T This interview will encourage many Black Americans to come visit the site.. My plea, let us develop the area.Make it attractive for people to even stay overnight behind this river and I tell you Ghana will gain a lot @AbeikuSantana

Eeeeeiii toooooli ooooo tooooooli

Don't play down people's experiences. Not all people have a reason to lie. Besides, this was a journey they planned for a long time and brought their whole family. You have no idea the understanding and closure they sought coming here. My respect to them. ✌🏿

I hope galamsey no spoil that river.

Eeeeeeiiiiiii🤣

If you've experienced and heard what your great grandparents has to endure for being what they are (black). Coming back here with that knowledge and seeing the things your ancestors went through will give you this same feeling. Experiences can differ based on info one gets or has

Ghanaians in the comments are so small minded lol it’s actually sad

This people can lie for Africa 😂

The most confused black woman .. turning her son into a woman and here talking about connection with ancestors

You go these sites aa you go barb The spirituality part deɛ ano know buh you go feel especially em slave dungeons
