Myself and Lord Goodman who followed me tried to push the minister on the suppression of information around the motives of the Southport monster. Why was the CPS so cagey? And, when an information vacuum was created and the public left speculating, why were they insulted as far right? As always, I was not happy with the answer, especially as the general tenor of the debate focused on banning swathes of online material - so, less information, not more.
