Gael Monfils was break dancing at UTS. Andrey Rublev was absolutely loving it. If you pay to watch a Gael match, you know you’re going to see so much more than just tennis. ❤️

This exho was really something else sorry for anyone who missed it. After this match we learned that you CAN make Andrey laugh on court. You just need to be Gael Monfils

Gael Monfils spoke in the U.S. Open press room about why he hit this insane leaping forehand: “2 sets to 1, a break up, happy… why not? 😂 I won’t hit many more to be honest. Why not? Yes, it’s harder. Somehow, it produces more happiness, more joy for me.” Sums up Gael, his tennis, and his legacy beautifully. 🥹

Nothing I love more, than fans of other teams, who openly know and support greatness without the fake hate. If you know football you know you’re watching greatness- just enjoy it, he’s so fun to watch.

Gael Monfils was asked how he wants tennis fans to remember him after playing his final Grand Slam match at U.S. Open, ‘What’s most important for me is how my family lived all those years & how they will remember the ride’ 🥹 “What would you most want fans to remember and think about you when they hear your name?” Gael: “Honestly, I don’t know. Do what they want. I’m just me. Gael Monfils. I think I’ve been the same since I came on tour. With a lot of joy. I feel like you don’t have to tell anyone how you want them to remember you. I think some people might like me. Some not. Some people think I’m fun. Some not. Some people think I entertain them. Some maybe not. I’m alright with everything. I’m just happy I know what’s most important for me is how my family lived all those years and how they will remember the ride, and how they will remember this ride was unbelievable. That’s what’s most important for me.” 🥹 (via US Open Press)

If you're planning on going on a road trip this summer, it's going to cost you more than last year. Gas prices are currently 42% higher than they were last year. So how much more will you have to pay? Lindsey Reiser breaks it down.

Novak Djokovic says he hopes to play Wimbledon at least one more time. He says Jannik Sinner was a level or more better than him at Wimbledon “The level is so high these days. Do you intend to come back next year when you’re 40?” Novak: “I’d like to. At least one more time. Let’s see.” “It felt like a boxing match image of you just getting battered and back and back. Did it feel that way physically? That the power was taking you off the court?” Novak: “I was just half a step late basically on any shot. It’s as simple as that. He was just a level or more better than I was. I was just not sharp enough. Not reactive enough. Not balanced enough to play him. That’s it. There was not much I could do on the court.” (via Wimbledon Press)

🐈 so today, i saw this. you all probably know about it because it's pretty famous at k-pop concerts... that laser... you know those led outfits? you guys know what led outfits are, right? it was someone wearing a yellow led outfit. every time i looked over, it was just so hilarious. the venue we were at had 7 floors. a 7-floor venue. but that person was around the 4th or 5th floor, so they weren't even in a spot that was easy to see. but even then, they were just constantly dancing like this, all by themselves, for the entire two hours. whether we were doing our ment or singing, they just kept dancing like this the whole time. so watching that was just so funny, they didn't care about anyone else and just kept dancing and dancing like this. that's why i brought them up during one of our ments, and they just had so much energy. it was cute. 🐈 yellow led, are you watching this? seriously, since it was an led outfit, it stood out even more, you know? so they were just doing this, dancing over and over again. even when we were doing our ending ment, they were still going at it, dancing like this. yeah. it was really cute. CUTE 😭
