Galaxy S23 One UI 6.1 AOD Issue ⚠️ Widget disappears from the lock screen and reappears in AOD. Hope Samsung will fix it and improve widget lock screen AOD transition so that the S23 AOD animation, which feels different, can be converted to a natural S24 animation #OneUI6 #Samsung...

Galaxy Fam, let's make our voices heard! I've created a post in the One UI 8.5 beta forum suggesting: Improve Lock Screen App opening and closing animations Link: How to like this suggestion: • Open the URL in Chrome/your web browser and log in with your Samsung account. • Like or comment. Next up: Dark mode app icons!

Exclusive: The next firmware update for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will introduce official One UI 7 features, such as adding a music player to the live island. And check out this animation—it’s so smooth!

One UI, including One UI 8.5, has a long-standing issue with the back gesture: lag. My finger moves, but the animation lags and doesn't follow the finger's response. This puts it behind all other OSes. Comparing One UI 8.5 with vivo's OriginOS5 and OriginOS6 reveals that Samsung's gesture response is the slowest, and I haven't been able to resolve the issue with Home Up. Samsung needs to optimize this. Another problem is that the icons in Samsung's animation are too ugly when they are shrunk. The icons are forcibly stretched to cover the page. Samsung borrowed this from OriginOS 5 at the time, but vivo fixed the problem in OriginOS6, and Samsung One UI 8.5 still has no improvement.

The 𝚎𝚡𝚙𝚘-𝚠𝚒𝚍𝚐𝚎𝚝𝚜 alpha is here! Now you can build iOS home screen widgets and Live Activities as React components. No separate Xcode target. No manual App Groups. No SwiftUI layout code. Write your widget in @expo/ui, and Continuous Native Generation handles the rest. ◆ Interactive buttons and toggles on the home screen ◆ Live Activities for the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island ◆ One React component, native rendering under the hood Details and code to get started in the blog below ↓

In India Samsung can sell poorly optimised laggy UI phones, provide 2 year old specs and also put a big ad banner in your main home screen UI. No one will have a problem, most of the people will buy these phones even when they know they will get a green line issue later.

Heads up! Samsung has introduced a very useful upgrade to the Privacy Display feature on the Galaxy S26 Ultra in One UI 9. For example, if you've enabled Privacy Display only for YouTube, when you minimize the video into Picture in Picture (PiP) and return to the home screen, only the PiP window will remain protected by Privacy Display. Your home screen and other apps will no longer be affected. In previous versions, once Privacy Display was enabled, the entire screen stayed in privacy mode, even after switching to PiP, making it much less flexible. This means One UI 9 finally supports independent Privacy Display for Picture in Picture. It keeps your PiP content private without affecting the rest of the interface, making the feature much more practical than before.

Xiaomi 18 Pro has brought split-screen privacy protection ahead of the Galaxy S27 Ultra. In split-screen mode, you can enable privacy protection for just one app while keeping the other app normally visible. As you resize the split-screen windows, the protected area dynamically adjusts with it. This is where Xiaomi shows a clear software advantage. The Xiaomi 18 Pro still falls behind Samsung in terms of pure privacy-screen strength, but when it comes to flexibility and the variety of privacy features, Xiaomi is currently ahead. A similar split-screen privacy feature is expected to arrive on the Galaxy S27 Ultra.

Over the past few days, I've been working on something really interesting: creating a whole new set of home screen animations for Samsung Galaxy phones. After countless experiments and adjustments, I actually made it happen. I want to show Samsung something through my own work: You are absolutely capable of creating much better system animations. You just haven't been willing to put in the effort. Smooth, natural animations with a real sense of depth and spatial movement are entirely possible on Galaxy phones. Today, I'm showing you just one of the animation effects I've created. And this is only the beginning. I'm still exploring and experimenting, with many more exciting ideas to come.

There is a "flash" bug in the One UI 7 Beta1 animation. In fact, there are at least three versions of this problem. Samsung seems to have not found it, so it has not been solved. You only need to open two apps in succession a little quickly (not particularly fast)，You will see a quick flicker in the picture. The first video is played at normal speed, and you can see a flash picture. The second video is a slow video, and you can see the moment when the soul of a page flashes in the ninth second. I call it the One UI 7 haunted event.

This GenZ app prints $100K/mo and it’s literally just a glorified widget. The app syncs your lock screen with your “bestie or partner” That’s it.. This video alone got 9M views for an app called Ustwo They built the viral features right into the app. And now they can just spam this format to keep scaling. Keep this in mind when building your product. ( viral features )

[APK] One UI 8.5 Game Booster (with extra features) now works on One UI 7 and later. Users already running One UI 8.5 should also install this version, it enables the exclusive features like Voice Roulette, Anti-Interference, Notification Styles, 4D Vibration, Pop-up View, Voice Changer, Super Microphone, Game Care, Controller, Virtual Gamepad, Game Sound, AI Mute, AI Lab and more. It also adds pre-download game updates and sync startup animation with game loading screen in the settings. This post covers the guide of virtual gamepad with images. The first time you use the virtual gamepad feature, "Full-screen mode in split-screen view" will be automatically enabled. If you wish to disable "Full-screen mode" later, you can go to "Settings > Advanced features > Multi-window" to turn it off. If your game does not have a default configuration, the basic configuration will be displayed. The game screen is the mapped area, and the virtual button is the button area. Click the gear-shaped "Settings" button in the button area shown in the image to configure it according to your needs.

Experienced the new Galaxy S26 Ultra at the #GalaxyUnpacked event in Delhi thanks to Samsung India Big highlight is that Privacy Screen, it's implemented very well, can switch it on/off, selective blocking etc. S26 Ultra feels a lot lighter to hold, has to be best weight balanced Ultra till now. Now supports 60W wired charging & 25W wireless. I'll try to post my quick first impressions video by tomorrow evening.

In less than 24 hours we will announce what we have been building behind the scenes. ⏳ Something you can actually use. Something that makes the $SAAR story feel complete instead of just another ticker on a screen. ⚡ It will be fun. It will be loud. And once it is out, you will understand why we kept it quiet. 👀 Lock in. Tomorrow it will be live . 🚀💎

I bought the Samsung Galaxy S25 for my younger brother just 2 months ago. He actually wanted an iPhone, but I convinced him to go with Samsung because I trusted the brand more and genuinely thought the S25 would be a great choice. But for the past 20 days, this has been happening almost every day. The moment we plug in the charger, the phone starts making a warning sound and shows: “Disconnect the power cable. Be careful, as the cable plug may be hot. Charging has stopped because your phone is overheating.” And the charger isn’t some random third-party charger. I bought the original Samsung charger from a Samsung store itself - the recommended charger for the S25. That’s what makes this so frustrating. A phone that’s barely 2 months old, paired with the official Samsung charger, and we’re still getting this warning almost every day. I’m genuinely confused about what’s causing it. Could this be a software issue, a charging-port problem, or something specific to the S25? I really didn’t expect to face something like this with a new Samsung flagship. My brother wanted an iPhone, I convinced him to get the S25 because I trusted Samsung more - and now I’m honestly questioning that decision. Has anyone else with a Galaxy S25 experienced this? Samsung, what’s going on here?

Compared to Gemini, I much prefer using ChatGPT. One of the key reasons is that Gemini’s app has a terrible launch experience , it almost has no transition animation at all. It just flashes onto the screen with no visual continuity, which feels awful. I honestly can’t understand how a company like Google would let such an obvious UX bug ship in a production product.
