Here’s a time lapse demonstrating the solar arrays autotracking the position of the sun then feathering to a safe position. Notice in this sped-up video how the solar arrays can rotate about two different axes, one controlled by the SARJ (solar alpha rotary joint) and the other by the BGA (beta gimbal assembly). This allows fine tuning the position of the arrays to optimize sunlight conversion to electricity.
