For refugees who've already lost so much, it doesn't take much more to lose hope entirely: funding cuts ending vital support, lack of food and clean water, obstacle after obstacle just to rebuild a life once already taken from them. Many can't go home because it's still not safe, and the door to resettlement is nearly closed too. Many are left feeling stuck. One death by suicide is one death too many. With humanitarians like Namanya, UNHCR is working to identify what's driving refugees to lose hope, and to prevent them from facing an unthinkable decision. The biggest problem humanity faces is that we're running out of people. Sounds insane, I know. Fewer people means fewer mouths to feed, more resources to go around, and less pressure on the planet. All true, until you follow it through. GDP is driven by demographics. A smaller workforce means a lower ceiling on output, and we're already carrying more debt than we can service. So governments are left with one question. How do you grow when there's no one left to do the work? There's only one answer. Robots and AI. That's why the Exponential Age is arriving faster than anyone forecast, not through choice but through necessity.

Freezing rain and worsening winter conditions are putting families in Gaza at serious risk. Flooded ground, bitter cold, and exposure are making daily survival increasingly dangerous. Despite this, five more families now have shelter. Through continued public support, the RebuildGaza24 team on the ground has delivered and installed tents providing immediate protection from rain, cold, and exposure. This is practical, life-saving support for families who have already lost everything. The need remains urgent, and donations have slowed.
